Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted AgentMash MCP server that gives AI assistants read-only search and browsing over your saved bookmarks library.

What you can do
  • Search and list saves, including newest-first listing when no query is given
  • Read a single save in full: text, stats, links, media and collections
  • List recent saves from the last few days
  • List the platforms in your library with save counts and last sync time
  • List your collections and read the saves inside one collection
When to use it
Use it when you keep bookmarks from X, LinkedIn, Instagram and similar platforms in AgentMash and want an assistant to look things up in that library instead of you scrolling through it. It suits recall and reference questions over your own saves, not editing them.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at agentmash.ai/mcp; no local package needed, though Claude Desktop connects through the mcp-remote bridge and needs Node with npx. An AgentMash account and an API key created on the Agents & API page, sent as an Authorization bearer header (or as a token query parameter for clients that cannot set headers). Codex reads the key from the AGENTMASH_API_KEY environment variable.
Before you install
The API key is shown only once and grants access to your library; store it safely and revoke it on the Agents & API page if leaked. Passing the key as a token query parameter puts it in the URL, where it may be logged. The tools are documented as read-only, but your saved content is sent to the AI client you connect. The manifest declares OAuth while the README says an API key is used instead.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AgentMash in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.agentmash%2Fagentmash/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

AgentMash MCP server

All your bookmarks in one library. Share them with your AI agents.

This repo documents the hosted AgentMash MCP server: how to connect your AI agent to your AgentMash library.

What AgentMash does

  • The AgentMash Chrome extension imports your saves from X, LinkedIn, Instagram and more when you click Sync. Nothing runs in the background.
  • Everything lands in one library.
  • Your AI agents read that library over MCP, with read-only tools.

Server

  • URL: https://agentmash.ai/mcp
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP

Authentication

AgentMash uses an API key, not OAuth.

  1. In AgentMash, open the Agents & API page and click Create API key.
  2. Copy the key right away. It starts with am_live_ and is shown only once.
  3. Send it as a header:
Authorization: Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY

For clients that cannot set headers, append ?token=am_live_YOUR_KEY to the URL instead.

Setup

Replace am_live_YOUR_KEY with your own key in each snippet.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http agentmash https://agentmash.ai/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY"

Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop connects through the mcp-remote bridge, so you need Node (with npx) installed. Add this to claude_desktop_config.json:

{  "mcpServers": {    "agentmash": {      "command": "npx",      "args": [        "-y",        "mcp-remote",        "https://agentmash.ai/mcp",        "--header",        "Authorization: Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY"      ]    }  }}

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

{  "mcpServers": {    "agentmash": {      "url": "https://agentmash.ai/mcp",      "headers": {        "Authorization": "Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY"      }    }  }}

Cline

In Cline, open MCP Servers, then Configure, then Configure MCP Servers, and add this to cline_mcp_settings.json. Set "type": "streamableHttp": without it Cline falls back to the legacy SSE transport and will not connect.

{  "mcpServers": {    "agentmash": {      "type": "streamableHttp",      "url": "https://agentmash.ai/mcp",      "headers": {        "Authorization": "Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY"      },      "disabled": false,      "autoApprove": []    }  }}

Or with the Cline CLI:

cline mcp add agentmash https://agentmash.ai/mcp --transport http --header "Authorization: Bearer am_live_YOUR_KEY" --yes

Codex

Add this to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.agentmash]url = "https://agentmash.ai/mcp"bearer_token_env_var = "AGENTMASH_API_KEY"

Then set the key in your shell before starting Codex: export AGENTMASH_API_KEY=am_live_YOUR_KEY. Codex reads the bearer token from that environment variable.

Tools

All six tools are read-only.

ToolWhat it does
search_savesSearches your saves. Leave the query out to list your newest saves first.
get_saveGets one save in full: text, stats, links, media and collections.
recent_savesLists saves from the last few days.
list_sourcesLists the platforms in your library, with saves per platform and last sync.
list_collectionsLists your collections with their names, platform and number of saves.
get_collection_savesGets the saves inside one collection.

Revoke a key

Open the Agents & API page in AgentMash and click Revoke on the key. Agents using that key stop working within about a minute.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
