Overview

Ankra Docs's hosted MCP server (docs.ankra.ai), published by ankra.ai; no sign-in required; Streamable HTTP; 3 tools.

No AI overview yet: these facts come from the registry entry and the server itself.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ankra Docs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.ankra%2Fdocs/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Ankra plugin for Cursor and Claude Code

The Ankra plugin for Cursor and Claude Code. It connects the agent to the hosted Ankra MCP server and adds Ankra's agent skills and slash commands for building, shipping and operating Kubernetes through Ankra.

For Claude Code, run this in a terminal:

sh
claude plugin install ankra --marketplace ankraio/cursor-plugin

Using the plugin: see plugins/ankra/README.md.

Updating the skills and commands

The skills and commands are maintained in ankraio/ankra-cli (internal/skills) and also ship through ankra skills install. Change them there, cut a CLI release, then regenerate this plugin from that release:

bash
brew upgrade ankra # the installed CLI must match the releasescripts/sync-from-cli.sh # defaults to the installed CLI's versionnode scripts/validate-template.mjs

Bump version in plugins/ankra/.cursor-plugin/plugin.json and plugins/ankra/.claude-plugin/plugin.json when the plugin content changes. The two stay equal; CI checks it. Claude Code users stay on a version until it changes, so a content change without a bump never reaches them.

This also runs on its own: the Sync from ankra-cli release workflow (.github/workflows/sync-from-cli.yml) checks ankra-cli's latest stable release every morning. When it is newer than plugins/ankra/SOURCE, scripts/sync-latest-release.sh downloads that release's binary, verifies its checksum, regenerates the skills and commands, bumps the minor version and validates, and the workflow opens (or updates) a pull request from sync/ankra-cli-release. It uses only the repository's GITHUB_TOKEN. Run it by hand from the Actions tab, optionally with a tag or as a dry_run. The same script works locally without an installed ankra:

bash
scripts/sync-latest-release.sh # latest stable releasescripts/sync-latest-release.sh v0.30.0 # a specific release

Testing locally

Claude Code:

bash
claude plugin validate --strict plugins/ankraclaude plugin validate .claude --plugin-dir plugins/ankra

Cursor:

bash
mkdir -p ~/.cursor/plugins/localcp -R plugins/ankra ~/.cursor/plugins/local/ankra-marketplace

Reload Cursor (Developer: Reload Window) and check that the rule, skills, commands and the ankra MCP server appear. If ankra skills install already wrote a local ankra plugin, move it aside while testing so the two do not overlap.

search_ankra

Search documentation

Search across the Ankra knowledge base to find relevant information, code examples, API references, and guides. Use this tool when you need to answer questions about Ankra, find specific documentation, understand how features work, or locate implementation details. The search returns contextual content with titles and direct links to the documentation pages. If you need the full content of a specific page, use the query_docs_filesystem tool to `head` or `cat` the page path (append `.mdx` to the path returned from search — e.g. a result at `/some/page` is read with `head -200 /some/page.mdx`).

Parametersqueryrequired

query_docs_filesystem_ankra

Query documentation filesystem

Run a read-only shell-like query against a virtualized, in-memory filesystem rooted at `/` that contains ONLY the Ankra documentation pages and OpenAPI specs. This is NOT a shell on any real machine — nothing runs on the user's computer, the server host, or any network. The filesystem is a sandbox backed by documentation chunks. This is how you read documentation pages: there is no separate "get page" tool. To read a page, pass its `.mdx` path to `head` or `cat` — a page at the URL path `/some/page` lives at `/some/page.mdx`. To search the docs with exact keyword or regex matches, use `rg`. To understand the docs structure, use `tree` or `ls`. **Paths are specific to this site — never guess them.** Discover real paths with `tree / -L 2`, `ls /`, or the search tool before reading. If a path does not exist, that only means the guess was wrong; it does NOT mean the topic is undocumented — use `rg -il "keyword" /` to find where it is covered. **Workflow:** Start with the search tool for broad or conceptual queries like "how to authenticate" or "rate limiting". Use this tool when you need exact keyword/regex matching, structural exploration, or to read the full content of a specific page by path. Supported commands: rg (ripgrep), grep, find, tree, ls, cat, head, tail, stat, wc, sort, uniq, cut, sed, awk, jq, plus basic text utilities. No writes, no network, no process control. Run `--help` on any command for usage. Each call is STATELESS: the working directory always resets to `/` and no shell variables, aliases, or history carry over between calls. If you need to operate in a subdirectory, chain commands in one call with `&&` or pass absolute paths (e.g., `cd /some-directory && ls` or `ls /some-directory`). Do NOT assume that `cd` in one call affects the next call. Examples (replace the placeholder paths with real ones from `tree` or search): - `tree / -L 2` — see the top-level directory layout - `rg -il "rate limit" /` — find all files mentioning "rate limit" - `

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
