Overview

AI-generated overview

Assistable's remote MCP server lets an assistant manage voice AI assistants, tools, contacts, calls and appointments, and give agents a phone for calls and…

What you can do
  • Search the registered tool catalog by intent and fetch exact tool definitions
  • List, inspect, create, update and archive voice/chat assistants, including voice settings and attached platform tools
  • List, inspect, create, update and soft-delete custom tools in a subaccount
  • List contacts and conversations, and fetch a single contact
  • List appointments by date range and fetch a call's status, recording and transcript
  • Sign in by device code or sign up a new account to obtain an API key
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to operate an Assistable account: configuring voice AI assistants and their tools, or reviewing contacts, conversations, calls and appointments. Also relevant if you want an agent to place or answer phone calls and send texts through Assistable.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.assistable.ai. An Assistable v3 API key sent as an Authorization Bearer header; without one, the connect tools can sign in by code or create a new account. A subaccount ID is needed for subaccount-scoped operations.
Before you install
The API key is a secret and grants access according to its scopes and subaccount access; the key returned by the connect or signup tools is shown only once and must be stored safely. Create and update tools change configuration, and archive/delete tools are destructive. Signup asks the assistant to generate and keep a dashboard password, and calls and texts may require a payment card.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Assistable in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.assistable%2Fassistable/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

assistable_connect

Only when you have no Assistable API key: start signing in. Returns verification_uri_complete and user_code; send the person that link (or the code) so they can sign in to Assistable, pick the account and approve. Then call assistable_connect_finish with device_code every interval seconds until it returns api_key. If they have no account, the link lets them sign up first.

Parametersclient_name

assistable_connect_finish

Check an assistable_connect sign-in. error.code authorization_pending means the person has not approved yet: wait interval seconds and call again. On approval it returns api_key once: use it as the Authorization: Bearer header for this MCP server (mcp_url) and keep it safe; it cannot be shown again.

Parametersdevice_coderequired

assistable_signup

Only when the person has no Assistable account (assistable_connect is for people who have one): start one with their email and name, and area_code or city/state for their local number. Emails them a 6-digit code; ask them for it, then call assistable_signup_finish. If they say the email told them they already have an account, use assistable_connect instead.

Parameterscitynamerequiredemailrequiredstatearea_codeclient_namebusiness_name

assistable_signup_finish

Finish assistable_signup with signup_id, the code the person read to you, and a strong password you generate and keep in your vault (it is their dashboard login). Returns api_key once: send it as the Authorization: Bearer header to this MCP server. Calls and texts answer card_required until the person opens card_url, which saves their card, adds starting credit and buys their local number; send them that link.
