Audio and video tools for your AI assistant: remove noise, enhance voices, transcribe, and more.
Overview
Audo is a hosted MCP server that gives an assistant audio and video tools: noise removal, voice enhancement, transcription, cutting, mixing and format…
- What you can do
- Clean and enhance audio: remove background noise, make voices sound studio-quality, even out speaker levels, adjust loudness
- Transcribe speech to text in 60 languages with speaker labels, SRT/VTT captions and word timings, and align a script to audio
- Edit audio: cut fillers and long silences, trim start/middle/end, join files, mix tracks, replace a video's audio
- Convert and inspect audio: change format to MP3, WAV and more, and read length and format details
- Manage files and jobs: create uploads, import a file from a direct URL, list and get files, check jobs, fetch downloads and transcripts, cancel jobs, view the account
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to clean up recordings, produce captions or transcripts, or do simple audio edits and conversions without opening a separate audio editor. It suits podcast, interview, meeting and voice-note workflows handled from a chat client.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint over streamable HTTP; no local package or runtime. OAuth sign-in at audo.ai on first use, so an Audo account is required. Network access to the endpoint and to any direct file URLs you import.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Audo in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.audo%2Faudo/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Audo MCP server and agent plugin
Audo: pro sound without the studio. Audio and video tools for you and your AI assistant: remove noise, enhance voices, transcribe, cut, and more.
This repository packages Audo's hosted MCP server at https://audo.ai/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP and OAuth. The first time you connect, your assistant asks you to sign in to your Audo account. No API key is required for the OAuth connection.
Install
Agent Plugin clients
This repository contains a portable Agent Plugins manifest, plugin.json, and a root mcp.json pointing to the hosted server. Install the repository using your client's plugin installation workflow. Official marketplace listings are pending; this repository does not imply approval by a marketplace.

Connect through OAuth when the client prompts. See setup guides for client-specific instructions.
What it does
- Speech cleanup:
remove_noisereduces background noise while preserving the recorded voice.enhance_voiceregenerates supplied speech to restore echo, distortion, muffled recordings, and poor microphones. Both are designed for speech and can remove music or other sounds. - Text and captions:
transcribe_audioproduces text, word timestamps, speaker labels, and TXT/SRT/VTT/JSON outputs.align_scriptaligns an existing script to a recording. - Editing:
cut_audio,remove_fillers,remove_silence, andjoin_audiotrim recordings, remove filler words or long pauses, and combine files. - Finishing:
level_speakersbalances loud and quiet voices;mix_trackslayers and ducks tracks;adjust_loudnesssets a target loudness;convert_audiochanges formats;replace_audioswaps a video's soundtrack. - Music and video:
split_audioseparates stems;change_speed_pitchchanges tempo and pitch;find_key_bpmmeasures key and tempo;reverse_audioreverses sound;mute_videoremoves a video's audio. - Analysis:
analyze_audioreports media information, loudness, peaks, clipping, and silence.
Use add_file for a direct HTTPS file URL or to start an upload. Supported chat clients also expose Audo's in-chat upload box. Local coding agents can use the returned upload command. Do not pass a local filesystem path as a public URL.
list_files, get_file, get_job, get_transcript, cancel_job, and get_account manage files, status, transcript reading, cancellation, and account information. Processing tools return either finished output or a job to check with get_job.
Example workflows
- Remove background noise from an interview and return the cleaned recording.
- Balance a quiet guest and loud host, then normalize the result for a podcast.
- Transcribe a recording with speaker labels and return the transcript and SRT captions.
- Split vocals and instrumental audio, then change the instrumental's speed or pitch.
Free use, limits, and privacy
Tools include a free allowance subject to per-tool daily limits. Full-file processing beyond that allowance requires sufficient existing Audo credits. Current allowances and rates are on Audo's pricing page.
Files and results are deleted after 24 hours. Output download links are temporary; use get_file for a fresh link while the file is retained. Only upload recordings you are permitted to process. See privacy and terms.
Documentation and support
The repository also contains server.json for the official MCP Registry entry ai.audo/audo. The hosted service is operated by Audo AI LLC; its implementation and credentials are not included here.
