BenchGecko
ai.benchgeckov1.0.0Updated Oct 5, 2026
AI model prices per provider, benchmarks, own AI behavior tests and AI economy data, with sources.
Overview
BenchGecko gives an assistant daily open datasets on AI model prices, provider offers, benchmarks, company facts, GPU rental prices and its own model tests.
- What it does
- BenchGecko is a remote MCP endpoint that exposes daily snapshots of data it collects and computes about the AI economy. The datasets cover per-model list prices and price changes, provider offers with quantization, context and uptime, company figures with sources, developer attention metrics, GPU rental prices, and results of BenchGecko's own model tests. Files are refreshed daily and each day's version is kept in git history, so a file's history forms a time series.
- When to use it
- Use it when you need current or historical AI model pricing, provider comparisons, GPU rental rates, or BenchGecko's own test results while working in an assistant. It suits cost comparisons, market tracking and research that benefits from sourced, dated figures.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP client that supports streamable HTTP, connecting to the BenchGecko endpoint. No packages, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open BenchGecko in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

BenchGecko open datasets
Daily snapshots of the data BenchGecko collects and computes about the AI economy: model prices across providers, price changes, company figures with sources, developer attention (Mindshare), GPU rental prices and the results of BenchGecko's own model tests (Gecko Tests).
Files are refreshed every day by an automated job. Every day's version is in the git history, so the history of each file is a time series.
