Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to Creatify's hosted Ad Agent, turning a prompt, product link or reference ad into a finished video ad.

What you can do
  • Create and manage ad projects, including importing reference assets such as footage, images and logos
  • Generate footage, keyframes, music and voice lines into a persistent project
  • Review generated takes and assemble them into a single stage, then ship a gated MP4
  • Check billing state, credit balance and whether takes are watermarked
  • List available voices from a read-only voice catalog
  • Start an ad from a product page URL by researching the page and seeding a project
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to produce short video ads end to end from a prompt, a product page or reference creative, without leaving the chat. Suited to marketing and creative work where the output is a rendered video rather than copy.
Requirements
A remote hosted endpoint; no local package. A Creatify account signed in through OAuth 2.1 with PKCE in the browser, with no API key to paste. A host that supports plugins or custom connectors, such as ChatGPT/Codex, Claude Code, Cursor or Claude Desktop. Network access to the hosted server.
Before you install
Generation and shipping consume your workspace's Creatify credits, and free-plan takes are watermarked. The server creates projects and imports assets, so it writes data to your Creatify workspace. Reference material you import is sent to Creatify's service. The README asks that generation or retries not be started without user consent.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ad Agent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.creatify%2Fad-agent/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Creatify Ad Agent Skill

Connects ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin, OpenClaw, or Antigravity to Creatify's Ad Agent MCP. The agent directs it: Boreal-H3 footage, keyframes, music and voice lines are generated into a persistent project, the agent judges every take from contact sheets, assembles one HTML stage, and ships a gated MP4.

ChatGPT plugin

ad-agent/ is also a portable Agent Plugins package for ChatGPT. Its root plugin.json provides the listing and bundles the ad-agent skill; mcp.json connects the hosted Creatify Ad Agent MCP server. Users authenticate with their Creatify account when connecting the server.

To prepare the package for a ChatGPT plugin draft, create a ZIP with the manifest, MCP configuration, and skill at the ZIP root:

sh
cd ad-agentzip -r ../creatify-ad-agent-plugin.zip plugin.json mcp.json skills assets

In ChatGPT Plugins, register and test https://api.creatify.ai/ad_agent/mcp in developer mode, then upload the ZIP as a plugin draft. Test the installed plugin in a new conversation. Public directory publication requires the developer identity, listing assets, review materials, and approval in the plugin submission flow; this repository only supplies the package.

Cursor plugin

ad-agent/ is also a Cursor plugin, listed in the Cursor Marketplace as Creatify (plugin name creatify). .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json at the repo root points at ./ad-agent, whose .cursor-plugin/plugin.json bundles the skills and cursor.mcp.json connects the hosted Creatify Ad Agent MCP server.

  • From the Cursor Marketplace (once listed): open Cursor Settings → Plugins (or the Marketplace), search for Creatify, and click Install. You can also run /add-plugin creatify in chat.

  • Locally from a clone: copy the plugin folder into Cursor's local plugins directory, then run Developer: Reload Window (or restart Cursor):

    sh
    git clone https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill.gitmkdir -p ~/.cursor/plugins/localcp -R creatify-ad-agent-skill/ad-agent ~/.cursor/plugins/local/creatify

If it doesn't show up under Settings → Plugins, check that third-party plugins are enabled; on Enterprise teams an admin must allow local plugin imports.

When Cursor connects creatify-ad-agent, finish the Creatify sign-in in your browser (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE); there is no API key or token to paste. If the composer_* tools are missing, check that the server is enabled and authenticated in Cursor's MCP settings (logs: Output panel → "MCP Logs"), then start a new chat and ask, for example, "Make a 15-second ad for https://example.com/product".

Devin plugin

ad-agent/ is also a Devin plugin. ad-agent/.devin-plugin/plugin.json bundles the connector (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE to the hosted Creatify Ad Agent MCP server) inline — Devin's manifest format embeds mcpServers directly rather than pointing at a separate *.mcp.json. The x-creatify-mcp-surface: devin header distinguishes this surface in the same way codex/cursor/claude-code already do for the other connectors.

Submission to CognitionAI/devin-marketplace is pending — it is a third-party entry there (git-subdir, path: "ad-agent") pinned to a commit sha of this repo, per that repo's adding-a-plugin skill. Until it lands:

  • Locally from a clone:

    sh
git clone https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill.gitdevin plugins install --local ./creatify-ad-agent-skill/ad-agent
  • In Devin Cloud: Customize → Plugins → Add plugin → From repository, with this repo and subdirectory ad-agent.

Either way, authorize the Creatify OAuth prompt when Devin asks, then start a new session and ask it to make a video ad.

OpenClaw plugin

ad-agent/ is also a native OpenClaw plugin, distributed through ClawHub as creatify-ad-agent. ad-agent/openclaw.plugin.json declares the skills and the hosted Creatify Ad Agent MCP server (streamable-http, OAuth, x-creatify-mcp-surface: openclaw); package.json and the no-op index.js exist only because OpenClaw requires a native entry. With a native manifest present, OpenClaw ignores the Codex/Claude/Cursor bundle files in the same folder.

  • From ClawHub (once listed):

    sh
    openclaw plugins install clawhub:creatify-ad-agent
  • Locally from a clone:

    sh
git clone https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill.gitopenclaw plugins install --link ./creatify-ad-agent-skill/ad-agent

A running Gateway applies the install immediately; otherwise it loads on the next Gateway start. Open the plugin's page in the Control UI, connect your Creatify account (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE), then start a new conversation. If the composer_* tools don't show up, or after editing a --linked copy, run openclaw plugins reload creatify-ad-agent. The server comes from the plugin, not from mcp.servers, so it does not appear in openclaw mcp list/status; check it with openclaw plugins inspect creatify-ad-agent.

To publish a new version, bump version in ad-agent/package.json and run clawhub package publish ./ad-agent --family code-plugin --owner <publisher> --version <version>. The --family flag is required: ClawHub would otherwise see the Codex/Claude/Cursor markers and publish a bundle-plugin instead of the native plugin (see the ClawHub CLI).

Antigravity plugin

ad-agent/ is also a Google Antigravity plugin. Antigravity reads the listing from plugin.json and the skills from skills/. It connects the hosted Creatify Ad Agent MCP server from mcp_config.json (x-creatify-mcp-surface: antigravity). While Antigravity's enable-agent-plugins-spec flag is off, it ignores mcp.json; no other host reads mcp_config.json.

  • From GitHub:

    sh
    agy plugin install https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill
  • Locally from a clone:

    sh
git clone https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill.gitagy plugin install ./creatify-ad-agent-skill/ad-agent

The installer should report skills : 2 installed and mcpServers : 1 installed. Restart Antigravity so it discovers the new plugin, then finish the Creatify sign-in in your browser (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE) when it connects creatify-ad-agent. agy plugin list should show creatify-ad-agent (enabled) with 2 skills, 1 MCP server. The server comes from the plugin, so agy mcp list doesn't show it.

Run agy plugin validate ./ad-agent --strict before publishing changes. Google curates the official antigravity-plugins-official marketplace, and it has no self-serve submission flow yet; until the plugin is listed there, install it from GitHub.

Install (humans)

Paste this into a new conversation in the ChatGPT/Codex desktop app or Claude Code (for Cursor, see Cursor plugin above):

text
Read github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill to install the Creatify Ad Agent plugin and make my first video ad.

The agent reads the guide below and does the rest, including sign-in.

Agent install guide

If you are an agent reading this for a user: read the whole guide, then complete every step in order. Do not stop after install or login; the final step is starting the user's first video.

0. Host environment gate

If you are running in a web app or an isolated remote workspace, stop: you cannot modify the desktop app's local plugin configuration. Tell the user to open the desktop app (or a local terminal for Claude Code), start a new conversation there, and paste the install prompt above.

1. Install the plugin

Codex. Use the Codex CLI bundled with the desktop app, not one from npm, Homebrew or a random codex on PATH:

text
"<BUNDLED_CODEX>" plugin marketplace add https://github.com/creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill.git --ref main"<BUNDLED_CODEX>" plugin add creatify-ad-agent@creatify-ad-agent

If no usable git is available, find the Git binary the machine already has and prepend its directory to PATH, then rerun.

Claude Code:

text
/plugin marketplace add creatify-ai/creatify-ad-agent-skill/plugin install creatify-ad-agent@creatify-ad-agent

2. Authenticate

  • Codex: codex mcp login creatify-ad-agent
  • Claude Code: /mcp, select creatify-ad-agent, then Authenticate

Both open the Creatify OAuth page in the browser. No tokens are stored in this repository.

3. Verify

  • The creatify-ad-agent MCP server is registered and logged in (codex mcp list, or /mcp in Claude Code).
  • composer_* tools are visible in a NEW conversation. The install thread has already captured its tool list, so don't test there.

4. Required final step: start the user's first video

Don't end at "installed". In the new conversation, ask the user what they want to promote and whether they have reference footage or images, then:

  • call composer_billing_state to check credits and whether takes are watermarked;
  • create a project with composer_project_create and import their references with composer_import_asset;
  • follow the ad-agent skill from there.

What is included

  • ad-agent/: the plugin package
    • plugin.json + mcp.json: portable ChatGPT plugin manifest and connector
    • .codex-plugin/plugin.json + codex.mcp.json: Codex metadata and connector
    • .claude-plugin/plugin.json + .mcp.json: Claude Code metadata and connector
    • .cursor-plugin/plugin.json + cursor.mcp.json: Cursor metadata and connector
    • .devin-plugin/plugin.json: Devin metadata and connector (self-contained; no separate marketplace.json here since Devin plugins are listed from CognitionAI/devin-marketplace, not from this repo)
    • openclaw.plugin.json + package.json + index.js: OpenClaw native manifest and connector, package metadata, and the required no-op entry
    • mcp_config.json: Antigravity connector (Antigravity reads the listing from plugin.json)
    • assets/creatify-icon.jpeg: the plugin icon used by every listing; assets/icon.png is the same icon as a PNG at the fixed path OpenClaw reads
    • skills/ad-agent/: the workflow skill and its references
    • skills/ad-from-product-url/: start an ad from a product page URL (researches the page, seeds a project with the product's real images and logo, then hands off to ad-agent)
  • .agents/plugins/marketplace.json: Codex marketplace
  • .claude-plugin/marketplace.json: Claude Code marketplace
  • .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json: Cursor marketplace

Privacy policy: https://creatify.ai/privacy · Terms: https://creatify.ai/terms · Support: https://creatify.ai/contact

The hosted endpoint is https://api.creatify.ai/ad_agent/mcp (OAuth 2.1 + PKCE, handled by the host).

Claude Desktop / Cowork: add https://api.creatify.ai/ad_agent/mcp as a custom connector, then upload ad-agent/skills/ad-agent as a skill.

Voice contract update

Earlier documentation described a removed voice-design path. This update uses the read-only composer_list_voices catalog and exactly one provider voice_id or authorized like samples; never describe or a record UUID. This documentation requires the coordinated backend + composer-worker rollout (server fix PR). A plugin update alone does not deploy the server or recover a failed task. After rollout, update the plugin, reconnect the MCP and start a new conversation to refresh the tool schema. Do not generate or retry without user consent.

Requirements

  • A Creatify account.
  • Codex with plugin support, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin, or OpenClaw 2026.10.7+.
  • Generation and shipping spend your workspace's Creatify credits (composer_billing_state shows prices and your balance); free-plan takes are watermarked.
