Overview

AI-generated overview

Graphlog Career keeps a personal career record that an AI assistant can read and update to build CVs, cover letters and interview prep.

What you can do
  • Read and update a stored career record built from old CVs and a LinkedIn profile
  • Run a short weekly check-in to keep the record current
  • Produce a CV and cover letter tailored to a specific job application
  • Show a home view of where the record stands and what to do next
  • Look up a job link and company details when tailoring documents
When to use it
Useful if you apply for jobs regularly and want an assistant to maintain one up-to-date career history and generate tailored application documents from it, rather than rewriting a CV each time.
Requirements
A remote connector at career.graphlog.ai/mcp with OAuth sign-in by email address and a one-time code. The optional skill is a plain-text file added through the assistant's plugin or skill settings. A paid subscription is needed after the first free week.
Before you install
Requires signing in with your email address and a code sent to you. Costs US$29 a year after a free first week with no card. Your career record, including CV and LinkedIn content, is stored on the provider's servers in the EU. The README suggests setting tool permissions to always allow, which lets the assistant change your record without asking.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Graphlog Career in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.graphlog%2Fcareer/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Graphlog Career

Your career record, kept by your AI assistant. Build it once from your old CVs and LinkedIn profile, keep it current with a two-minute weekly check-in, and get a CV and cover letter tailored to every job you apply for, written from the whole truth of your career. US$29 a year (pricing). More at graphlog.ai.

Graphlog Career comes in two parts:

  • The connector keeps your career record and gives your assistant the tools to read and update it. It works on its own.
  • The skill, in this repository, tells your assistant what a good record, weekly check-in and tailored CV look like, and how to guide you. With it, you get the best out of Graphlog.

2. Say "Graphlog"

Open a new chat and say:

Graphlog

It wakes Graphlog up: your assistant shows its home, where your record stands and a choice of what to do next.

Optional: stop Claude asking each time

By default, Claude asks before using a connector's tools. To let Graphlog work without asking:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors and select Graphlog Career.
  2. Under Tool permissions, set each group to Always allow, top to bottom.

What it runs

The skill is plain text: no code, no scripts. For tailoring, your assistant opens the job link you give and looks up the company. The connector is the Graphlog Career server at https://career.graphlog.ai/mcp, which stores your career record in the EU. It never calls an AI model; your assistant does all the thinking.
