Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that answers questions with quote-verified results drawn from four web search engines and about 45 structured sources.

What you can do
  • Ask a question and get one verified answer with its quotes and links, or an id for longer-running work
  • Retrieve a pending answer by its id
  • Search for ranked sources with only the relevant passages, copied word for word, when the assistant should read the evidence itself
  • Return not_found instead of guessing when sources do not support an answer
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs researched answers backed by citations rather than raw web pages, especially for questions that depend on filings, government statistics, public registers, scholarly indexes or books. It suits agents that want compact, evidence-checked results to keep context small.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or runtime. A Hyperresearch account with OAuth sign-in on first tool call, or an API key sent as an Authorization Bearer header for browserless environments. Prepaid credit in the account; new accounts get $5 of free credit.
Before you install
Calls are paid from prepaid account credit, so usage spends money; each result shows its cost and remaining balance. Signing in grants the server access to your Hyperresearch account, and an API key is a credential to keep secret. Questions and queries are sent to a third-party service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Hyperresearch Answers in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.hyperresearch%2Fanswers/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Hyperresearch Answers (MCP)

[Hyperresearch]

Every web search provider has gaps. Each one indexes different pages, misses different sources, and none of them reach the structured data behind most real questions.

Hyperresearch Answers layers four web search engines with about 45 structured sources, including company filings, government statistics, public registers, scholarly indexes and books. Your agent gets one search tool with the gaps filled in.

Every answer is checked word for word against quotes from the pages it cites. If the sources don't back it up, it says not_found instead of guessing. Your agent gets the answer and its proof, not whole web pages, so its context stays on your work.

Tools

  • ask: one question, one verified answer with its quotes and links. A hard question returns an id instead.
  • get_answer: collects an answer that is still being worked on, by its id. Free.
  • search: ranked sources with only the relevant passages, copied word for word, for when your agent should read the evidence itself.
