Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote S3-style object storage sandbox that lets an assistant create free 30-day buckets and upload, download, list, inspect and delete objects.

What you can do
  • Create buckets and check which buckets and operations are currently permitted
  • Inspect a bucket's details, storage and egress usage
  • Upload objects up to 5 GB by getting a short-lived PUT URL
  • Download object bytes through a short-lived GET URL
  • List objects and path-like prefixes page by page, ordered by key
  • Read object metadata (size, timestamps, ETag, content type, tags) and delete objects
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs scratch storage for files it produces or consumes during a task, or when you want to try object storage workflows without setting up your own bucket or credentials.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint over streamable HTTP; no local package, environment variables or headers are declared. Buckets are created through the server and come with their own bearer token, and the sandbox buckets expire after 30 days.
Before you install
The server issues secret bearer tokens and short-lived signed upload and download URLs; treat them as credentials and avoid exposing them. Uploads, downloads and deletes change stored data, and deleting an object may leave older versions in versioned buckets. Buckets expire after 30 days, so do not rely on it for durable storage.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open IronShard Object Storage Sandbox in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.ironshard%2Fagent-storage-sandbox/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
