Watch cameras and video with AI vision and get alerts in Slack, Discord, Telegram or a webhook.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Percia lets an assistant set up AI-vision watches on cameras and video, then review what they saw and where alerts were delivered.

What you can do
  • List, create, pause and review camera or video watches described in plain language
  • Show pairing and connect links as QR cards to add a phone as a camera
  • Look at what each watch saw, including the reason and a photo of the moment
  • Hand over links for connecting alerts to Slack, Home Assistant or a webhook
  • Guide setup tasks such as connecting a camera, debugging a delivery or building a webhook receiver
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to configure and manage AI vision monitoring from a conversation, for example watching a door camera for a person and routing alerts to Slack or a webhook, and later reviewing the events it recorded.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint reached over streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in to a Percia account; a free Percia account (research preview) is required. Alert destinations such as Slack, Home Assistant or webhooks are connected by the user on Percia's own page, not by the assistant.
Before you install
The service processes camera and video data, so check what it keeps and who processes it before connecting anything. Only connect cameras you own or are allowed to monitor. It is a research preview and not a safety or security device. Delete tools are available only if enabled on the consent screen, and the assistant can create, pause and change watches.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Percia in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.percia%2Fpercia/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Percia for Claude

Watch cameras and video with AI vision from a conversation. Describe what to look for in plain words ("tell me when a person is at the front door"), add a phone as a camera by scanning a QR code, and get an alert, with the reason and a photo of the moment, in Slack, email or a webhook.

This plugin bundles:

  • The Percia connector (.mcp.json): https://playground.percia.ai/mcp/directory. Claude can list, create, pause and review watches, show pairing and connect links as QR cards, and look at what each watch saw. Sign in with your Percia account when asked; you choose what Claude may do on the consent screen, and deleting is off unless you turn it on.
  • Task skills (skills/): connect a camera, create a watch, send alerts to Slack and other tools, review events, debug a delivery, build an agent, set up a webhook receiver.

Use it

  1. Add the plugin (Claude chat, Cowork or Claude Code) and connect Percia when asked.
  2. Ask, for example: "Watch my front door camera for a person and tell me in Slack." Percia delivers by itself; Claude does not need to keep checking.

You need a free Percia account (research preview): https://playground.percia.ai. Alerts to Slack, Home Assistant or a webhook are connected by you on Percia's own page: Claude can only hand you the link.

Maintenance

The skills are copied from the Percia application repository (scripts/sync-plugin.mjs); change them there, not here. The connector is the directory edition of the MCP server: it has read, write and delete tools instead of a code-execution tool.

This server asks you to sign in, so SourceWeft could not read its tools without an account and has not indexed them. What a connected account sees can depend on that account and its permissions.
