What it does
PixelDojo exposes generation tools for images, video, audio and multi-shot films. Tools include pixeldojo_generate for any prompt, pixeldojo_edit for text-guided image changes, pixeldojo_character for consistent characters, pixeldojo_film and pixeldojo_episode for longer pieces, pixeldojo_ad and pixeldojo_campaign for product marketing assets, plus upscale, audio, library search and saved workflows. Long jobs return a jobId that is polled with pixeldojo_status.
When to use it
Use it when an assistant should produce or edit visual and audio media: product photos and ads, character-consistent shots, short films, faceless narrated videos, upscaling, or turning a product URL into structured product info and campaign assets.
Requirements
Either the hosted endpoint with browser sign-in or an API key, or the local npm package run with npx over stdio. The local option needs Node.js and the PIXELDOJO_API_KEY environment variable; the hosted server also accepts an Authorization Bearer header. A PixelDojo account with credits is required.
Before you install
Renders consume credits on your PixelDojo account, so generation spends money; failed jobs are said to be refunded. The local server reads local files through pixeldojo_upload, which creates a 24-hour temporary URL. Generated asset URLs expire one hour after creation. Requests send x-pixeldojo-source and x-pixeldojo-skill headers for traffic attribution.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PixelDojo in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

How jobs work

Generation tools wait up to 30 seconds. Fast renders return straight away. Longer ones return a jobId and your agent follows up with pixeldojo_status. Generated asset URLs expire one hour after creation, so download anything you want to keep. Finished films stay in your PixelDojo library.

Credits and auth

Renders use the credits on your PixelDojo account (plans and credit packs: https://pixeldojo.ai/pricing). Failed jobs are refunded. Hosted auth is OAuth 2.0 with browser approval, or an API key. API keys are redacted from every log.

Telemetry

Requests send x-pixeldojo-source: mcp/<version> and x-pixeldojo-skill: <tool> headers so PixelDojo can attribute traffic. Nothing is sent beyond the API call itself.
