Overview

AI-generated overview

Polemia lets an assistant create free live phone quizzes on any topic, find ready-made public quizzes, and fetch a daily opinion question.

What you can do
  • Create a live multiple-choice quiz on any topic and get a host link plus a join link and code for players
  • Search Polemia's free public library of ready-made quizzes and get their play links
  • Fetch today's anonymous opinion question with its answer options and voting link
When to use it
Useful when the user wants a trivia game, icebreaker or pub quiz for a class, party, family or team, or would rather pick an existing quiz than have one written. Also handy for a conversation starter or a question of the day.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at polemia.ai over streamable HTTP. No account, API key, environment variables or headers are declared; players join with a short code and no sign-up.
Before you install
Creating a quiz publishes a live game on a third-party service and takes roughly 10 to 60 seconds. The returned host link controls the game, so it should go only to the person hosting, while the join link and code go to players. Daily question answers are submitted anonymously to Polemia.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Polemia in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.polemia%2Fquiz/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Make a Polemia quiz

Make a new live multiple-choice quiz on Polemia about any topic, ready to play on phones with a join code. Use it when the user wants a quiz, trivia game or icebreaker for a class, party, family, team or pub quiz. Takes 10 to 60 seconds. Returns join_url and code (for the players), host_url (for the person running the game: opening it makes that browser the host, and it works once), qr_url (a QR code image of the join link) and an instructions sentence to pass on. Always give the user both host_url and join_url. "facts" quizzes have right answers; "opinions" quizzes are scored by what the majority picks. Topics that target people, politics, war or adult material are refused.
