Purple8 — AI-Native Application Backend
ai.purple8.wwwPublished by www.purple8.aiv0.72.1Updated Nov 6, 2026
Complete backend for AI-built apps: data, auth, workflows, SLAs, HITL & RAG in 176 MCP tools.
The publisher's own server: NativeExpress
Overview
Remote MCP backend that gives an AI assistant 176 tools to build and run app data, auth, workflows, SLAs, human-in-the-loop and RAG.
- What you can do
- Manage application data and backend records for AI-built apps
- Handle authentication and access control
- Define and run workflows, including human-in-the-loop steps
- Track service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Build and query RAG knowledge features
- All of this is exposed as a single remote toolset of 176 MCP tools
- When to use it
- Worth adding when you want an assistant to stand up or operate the backend of an AI-generated application — its data, auth, workflows and retrieval — without wiring separate services yourself.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint (streamable HTTP) at the provider's hosted address; no local package or runtime. An API key sent in the X-API-Key header is required; a free 30-day Cloud Sandbox key is offered by the provider.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Purple8 — AI-Native Application Backend in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect X-API-Key credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.purple8.www%2Fpurple8-hyper-graph/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

67% of the applicable checks met
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
