What you can do

It also offers a 4,000-entry AI-governance glossary lookup, a recent-changes feed, and a general search with document fetch covering laws, glossary terms, enforcement actions, litigation, research papers and news.
When to use it
Use it when you need to look up AI regulation in a jurisdiction, compare rules across countries, or track recent regulatory changes and enforcement actions. Suited to compliance research and preliminary legal review.
Requirements
Remote HTTP endpoint; no API key or environment variables. Network access required.
Before you install
Some content on the free tier, such as glossary definitions, is abridged; full analysis lives on the regulations.ai site. Returned URLs should be shown to the user so they can read the full record and sources.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.regulations%2Fregulations-ai/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search AI regulations across 160+ jurisdictions by keyword, jurisdiction, status or type. Returns the key facts and a short snippet for each, with the url of the full record on regulations.ai — always give the user that url.
Fetch one regulation by its id (as returned by search_regulations): jurisdiction, status, type, dates, official source and a snippet. The full analysis is on the returned url — point the user there.
