Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that ranks suppliers, sizes purchase orders and maps spend into Kraljic quadrants from delivery and spend data.

What you can do
  • Run supplier selection on delivery rows, spend items and supplier scores: AHP weighting, TOPSIS ranking, reliability scoring and a decision record.
  • Size order quantities with quantity-discount EOQ.
  • Classify spend into Kraljic quadrants.
  • Get a runnable numpy-only script to run the same engine locally on larger files.
When to use it
Useful when deciding which suppliers to keep, stop using or negotiate with, comparing quotes and on-time history, or choosing lot sizes against quantity-discount slabs, with an audit-ready record of the reasoning.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. OAuth 2.1 sign-in (PKCE with dynamic client registration) is required, so the client opens a sign-in page on first use. No environment variables or headers declared.
Before you install
You sign in through OAuth, so the server is tied to your account. It returns decision recommendations such as stop using or order, and in public-tender mode the ranking is supporting evidence only, so results should be reviewed before acting. For large files, prefer the local-script tool so data stays on your machine.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Procurement & Supplier Selection in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.saifs%2Fprocurement-and-supplier-selection/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Procurement & Supplier Selection

Explained, audit-ready supplier choice and buying-quantity decisions from delivery, spend and supplier scores. Weights suppliers with AHP, ranks them with TOPSIS, scores on-time / defect reliability, sizes lots with quantity-discount EOQ, and maps the book into Kraljic spend quadrants. Public-tender mode treats the ranking as supporting evidence only.

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http saifs-procurement-supplier-selection https://procurement-and-supply-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp

Any other MCP client

Point it at https://procurement-and-supply-mcp.saifs.ai/mcp using the Streamable HTTP transport. The server returns 401 with a WWW-Authenticate: Bearer … resource_metadata=… challenge, so OAuth-aware clients sign in automatically.

Tools

ToolWhat it does
procurement_supplier_selectionFor up to 1,000 delivery rows, 500 spend items and 60 suppliers: AHP weights, TOPSIS ranking, vendor reliability, EOQ order sizing, Kraljic spend map and a decision record (FOLLOW TENDER RULES, STOP USING, ORDER, NEGOTIATE…).
procurement_get_engineFor larger GRN / spend files: returns a runnable numpy-only script that runs the same engine locally, so the data never leaves the user's machine.

Example prompts

  • “Here are last year’s GRNs and spend. Who should we keep, and who should we stop using?”
  • “We have three quotes and on-time history. Rank the suppliers and say if the scores are too close to award.”
  • “What lot size should we buy given these quantity-discount slabs?”
