Overview
Local MCP server that runs machine-checkable PDF/UA accessibility audits on PDF files, covering ADA, EAA and Section 508 basics, without uploading files.
- What you can do
- Audit PDF files for machine-checkable PDF/UA accessibility basics tied to ADA, EAA and Section 508.
- Run the checks locally on the user's machine, with no uploads of the documents.
- The manifest lists no individual tools, so the exact set of checks and outputs is not documented here.
- When to use it
- Useful when you need a quick, local first pass on whether PDFs meet basic accessibility requirements before publishing or handing them to a compliance reviewer.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local stdio process installed from the npm package @thrain/spotlight-mcp, so Node.js and a desktop environment are needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared.
