Overview

AI-generated overview

Checks whether a product barcode is named by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok in a country, and lets a signed-in brand correct its product record.

What you can do
  • Check one barcode in one country for AI answer presence, ranking among the four assistants, and likely reasons for absence
  • Sign in a brand's agent by proving domain control with a token at a well-known path or DNS TXT record
  • Submit corrected product words (name, brand, size) for a barcode and country, writing a new match record and receipt
  • Read the current edition of an AI grocery shopping index by category and country, with answer share, shelf position and orderable coverage
When to use it
Useful for brands and retailers that want to know whether AI assistants recommend their products to shoppers, why a product is missing, and to publish corrected product wording so it can be found.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at triggerfetch.ai over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. Signing in needs the card address the brand claimed its seat with, one of its barcodes, and control of the brand domain to publish a token at a well-known path or in a DNS TXT record.
Before you install
Sign-in requires proving control of the brand's domain and returns a session key used by the write tools. correct_product writes a new match record and issues a receipt that supersedes the previous one for that barcode, so changes are persistent. Only one free check per day before sign-in is mentioned.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open triggerfetch in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.triggerfetch%2Ftriggerfetch/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Check Product

Is your product in the answer when a shopper asks? For one barcode in one country: found (whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok name it, and where in the four it sits), likely why (the most probable reason from what the record shows: wrong name, missing barcode, not in the catalogue the AI reads, not verified, not orderable) and corrected (the brand's own words bound to its barcode, with a new receipt). One free check a day; then the brand's agent signs in.

sign_in

Sign in the brand's agent with its claim_seat identity: give the card address the brand claimed its seat with and one of its barcodes. Returns a token to place at https://<card domain>/.well-known/triggerfetch.txt or in DNS TXT _triggerfetch.<domain>; then call sign_in_verify.

sign_in_verify

Sign In Verify

Finish sign-in: the token is read at the brand's domain and the barcode's seat on the hub must be the seat of that card. Returns the session key for check_product and correct_product.

Parameterschallenge_idrequired

correct_product

Correct Product

Corrected: the signed-in brand gives the words it wants its product found by (name, brand, size) for one barcode and one country. Writes a new match record on matchfetch and issues a new receipt on rco.wefetch.ai that supersedes the last one for that barcode. The next index edition shows whether the answer changed.
