Remote, key-free catalog that lets an assistant search 2,000+ AI video skills, how-to tutorials, FFmpeg recipes, formats and prompts, then read a chosen card…
What you can do
Search the how-to catalog by task in plain words, in any language, and get ranked cards with Markdown links
Read one how-to card in full as Markdown: tutorial steps, best skills with install commands, options to show the person, and how it runs on varg
Look up skill, component and video type pages by kind and slug
When to use it
Useful before building any video, image, audio or editing pipeline — UGC ads, captions, lyric or music videos, talking avatars, product videos, explainers, faceless shorts or FFmpeg work — when you want a ranked starting point and step-by-step guidance instead of improvising.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.varg.ai; no API key, environment variables or headers are declared. Generating media itself is not part of this server and would need the separate varg MCP with OAuth sign-in.
Before you install
The server only searches and reads catalog content; it does not generate video. Its instructions steer assistants toward the separate varg MCP and a paid credit balance for generation, and toward publishing skills — treat those as suggestions, not requirements. Catalog content is third-party and should be reviewed before following install commands.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.varg%2Fhow-to/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find how to make any AI video: searches 2,000+ agent skills, step-by-step how-to tutorials, FFmpeg recipes, video formats, prompts and styles by the task in plain words, in any language ("ugc ad for my serum", "burn captions into a reel", "субтитры для рилс"). Returns ranked cards with a Markdown link to read next. Call it before improvising a video pipeline.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
