Overview

AI-generated overview

Vidova is a remote MCP server that lets an assistant edit video on a real timeline, generate clips, music and voice, and render in the cloud.

What you can do
  • Edit footage on a real timeline, cutting clips and assembling projects
  • Add captions, music, voiceover, motion graphics and effects
  • Generate clips, music and voice for a project
  • Render finished videos in the cloud
  • Open projects in the web editor to continue editing by hand
  • Run packaged skills for product ads, podcast clips, music videos, travel recaps, explainers and similar formats
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to turn raw footage or a short brief into a finished video — a product ad, vertical podcast clips, a music video, a travel recap or an explainer — without cutting it yourself, and you are happy to keep refining the result in the web editor.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.vidova.ai added to the client; OAuth sign-in with a Vidova account is required. No environment variables or headers are declared. Network access is needed for editing and cloud rendering.
Before you install
Signing in grants the server access to your Vidova account and its projects. The assistant creates and renders video projects, which changes data in your account and may consume paid rendering or generation resources; check your plan and pricing. Uploaded footage and generated media are processed by Vidova's cloud service, so review its privacy policy and terms.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Vidova in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/ai.vidova%2Fvidova/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Vidova

[Vidova]

Vidova is an AI video editor that your agent drives. Ask for a product ad, podcast clips, a travel recap or a music video, and the agent cuts your footage on a real timeline, adds captions, music, voiceover, motion graphics and effects, and renders the video in the cloud. You can open every project in the web editor at editor.vidova.ai and keep editing by hand.

This repository holds the Vidova MCP server configuration and the Vidova skills for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Kiro and other agents.
