Overview

AI-generated overview

AHOOK is a hosted webhook inbox for AI agents: create an inbox, hand out its ingest URL, then wait for, list and extract incoming events.

What you can do
  • Create a webhook inbox and get its ingest URL plus a read token
  • Wait for the next event in an inbox after a cursor, up to 30 seconds
  • List events in an inbox and fetch a single event by id
  • Pull a JSON path out of an event body
  • Delete an inbox together with its events
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to receive callbacks from external services or scripts without running its own server, for example waiting on a webhook from a form, CI job or third-party app and reading fields out of the payload.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Inbox-scoped tools need an Authorization Bearer read token header, which create_inbox returns once. A free tier exists, with paid Starter and Growth plans.
Before you install
The read token is shown only once and grants access to the inbox's events, so store it carefully. delete_inbox permanently removes the inbox and all its events. Webhook payloads come from third parties and may contain untrusted content. Paid plans cost money beyond the free tier.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AHOOK in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.ahook%2Fahook/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

AHOOK is a webhook inbox for AI agents. Create an inbox, get an ingest URL, and your agent can wait for events, list them, and pull fields out of them — all from one hosted endpoint. No install, no server to run.

  • Endpoint: https://ahook.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0)
  • Registry: app.ahook/ahook on the official MCP Registry
  • Point any MCP client at the endpoint URL — nothing to install.
