A remote MCP server for browsing DataClue's licensable AI training data — egocentric video, UMI gripper demos and custom collection — and requesting quotes.
What you can do
Search the dataset catalog by a plain-English need, with hours in stock, price per hour and scenarios returned for each match. Retrieve full details for one dataset: scenarios, sensors, resolution, annotation, delivery format, licensing, FAQs and sample clips. Read list prices, what is included, quote paths, licensing, payment and consent terms. Send a quote request to DataClue's sales team on the user's behalf.
When to use it
Useful when you are sourcing real-world training data for robotics, computer vision or embodied AI and want to compare DataClue's catalog, specs and pricing from inside the assistant, or to start a sample, pilot or custom-collection request.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at dataclue.app; no package, environment variable or header is declared. Network access is needed. A quote request requires the user's name, work email and company.
Before you install
request_quote has a side effect: it emails the user's name, work email and company to DataClue's sales team, who reply to that email. Call it only when the user asks to contact DataClue and has given their own work email, and confirm the details first. Pricing and licensing terms come from the vendor and should be verified before any purchase.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.dataclue%2Fcatalog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search DataClue's catalog of licensable AI training data (egocentric video of real work, UMI gripper demonstrations) with a plain-English need, e.g. "50,000 hours of household manipulation video, 1080p, long sessions". Returns matching datasets with hours in stock, price per hour, scenarios and which requirements they meet, plus custom-collection options when nothing in stock fits.
Parametersqueryrequired
get_dataset
Get dataset details
Full details for one DataClue dataset: overview, scenarios with measured sample specs, delivered resolution, sensors, annotation, delivery format, licensing, FAQs, sample clip URLs and price.
Parametersslugrequired
get_pricing_and_terms
Get pricing and terms
DataClue's list prices, what is included, quote paths (free samples, paid pilot, volume quote, custom collection), licensing, payment and consent terms.
Takes no parameters.
request_quote
Request samples or a quote
Send a request to DataClue's sales team on the user's behalf: free evaluation samples, a paid pilot, a volume quote, or a custom collection. Side effect: emails the request (including the user's name, work email and company) to DataClue, who reply to that email. Only call this when the user has asked to contact DataClue and has provided their own work email, and show them the details to confirm before sending. Each call sends a new request, so do not retry a successful call.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
