Overview

AI-generated overview

Turns an Excel or CSV export into a read-only Every Number dashboard where each figure comes with a receipt of its definition and source rows.

What you can do
  • Upload a spreadsheet export (Excel or CSV, up to 10 MB) and get a dashboard built from it
  • Receive a read-only dashboard link plus every number on it with its receipt: definition, rows used, and rows excluded with the reason
  • Rely on fixed layout rules and database-side counting rather than model-generated figures
When to use it
Useful when someone has a spreadsheet export and wants a quick dashboard or KPI view, and needs to see how each number was derived and which rows were left out.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint at everynumber.app over streamable HTTP; no account, API key or environment variables are declared. The file to analyze must be an Excel or CSV export of at most 10 MB.
Before you install
Uploaded spreadsheet data is sent to a third-party service. Dashboards are deleted 24 hours after upload unless the person opens the link and saves it, so anything needed long-term must be saved. The dashboard is read-only and the tool does not appear to modify the source file.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Every Number in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.everynumber%2Fspreadsheet-dashboard/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Make a dashboard from a spreadsheet

Turn a spreadsheet export (Excel or CSV, up to 10 MB) into an Every Number dashboard. Returns a read-only dashboard link and every number on it with its receipt: the definition, the rows it used, and the rows it left out with the reason. Fixed rules lay out the screen and a database counts every number; no AI reads the file. Send the file as file_url (a Google Sheet shared as 'Anyone with the link', a Dropbox link, or a file in a public GitHub repository) or as file_content (CSV text, or base64 for Excel) with file_name. No account needed. Anyone with the link can open the dashboard, and it is deleted 24 hours after upload unless the person saves it. Limits: 5 files per 10 minutes and 20 per day from one place.
