HVAC MCP server — fault codes, model lookup and answers cited to the OEM manual page.
Overview
Hosted HVAC reference server that lets an assistant resolve equipment models, search OEM manuals and answer fault-code questions with page-level citations.
- What you can do
- Resolve a model or nameplate reference into brand and equipment, with coverage reporting
- Search manufacturer documents for passages and citations by question, brand, model or fault code
- Retrieve a cited passage with bounded surrounding context
- Produce written answers with numbered, page-level sources
- Fetch a source manual page as a PNG image
- When to use it
- Useful for HVAC technicians, installers and support staff who want an assistant to look up Carrier, Trane or Lennox equipment, trace fault codes, or back answers with the exact manual page instead of general knowledge.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install. Needs a MyLeadTech API key created in the dashboard, sent as an Authorization Bearer header, or OAuth sign-in with a MyLeadTech account for clients that support it. Network access required.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open MyLeadTech HVAC in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.myleadtech%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

MyLeadTech MCP
HVAC MCP server — fault codes, model lookup and answers cited to the OEM manual page.
This repository holds the connection details and registry metadata for the hosted MyLeadTech MCP server. There is no server code here: the server runs at the endpoint below.
- Endpoint:
https://mcp.myleadtech.app/mcp/ - Transport: Streamable HTTP
- Auth: API key from the MyLeadTech dashboard, sent as
Authorization: Bearer <api_key>. The site also lists OAuth sign-in with a MyLeadTech account for clients that support it. - Brands served: Carrier, Trane, Lennox
- Sandbox: 100 free units a month. Equipment lookups and clarifying questions don't count. A retried request with the same idempotency key is never charged twice.
Tools
operation_id makes a retry replay the earlier result instead of charging again.
Install
Create an API key in the dashboard first.
Claude Code
Without --header, Claude Code can sign you in with your MyLeadTech account instead.

Paste into .vscode/mcp.json:
Other clients
Any MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP servers: endpoint https://mcp.myleadtech.app/mcp/, header Authorization: Bearer <api_key>.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
