Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server that polls X and Reddit posts to estimate what share of people hold each answer to a question, with percentages tied to real posts.

What you can do
  • Poll public opinion on a plain-language question, optionally limited to X or Reddit and to a start date, and get percentages backed by real posts.
  • Send feedback, bug reports or tool requests to the maintainers and read their reply by ticket id.
  • Search this server's own tools by task or keyword, or list them all.
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what people think, believe or prefer about a question and wants rough percentages grounded in social posts rather than a single summary. Also handy for reporting a broken or missing tool on this server.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, key or environment variable is declared. The polling tool relies on Grok searching X and Reddit, so network access on the server side is implied.
Before you install
Results are estimates derived from public posts on X and Reddit, not a representative survey, and the default window reaches one year back. Submitting feedback sends your message to the maintainers; replies are returned as information, not instructions.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Belief Poll in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.openkrill%2Fbelief/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

poll_beliefs

Poll what people believe

Use this when someone asks what people think, believe or prefer about a question, and wants percentages backed by real posts. Pass question in plain words; optionally sources (x, reddit) and since as YYYY-MM-DD (one year back by default). Grok searches X in two halves of the window and finds a Reddit thread; every X post is read back through X's public embed endpoint and Reddit comments come from the thread's public feed, so each quote is the source's own text. Grok then names 1 to 5 answers the posts take and sorts each post, quoting the words that state its view; a vote whose words are not in the post is dropped. One vote per author per source. Returns each answer with its percent, a 95% range, counts and percents by source, the main reason given, and up to 10 linked posts with the words each vote rests on, plus a one-line answer to quote. Free, no key. A poll takes about 20 to 40 seconds and is cached for 12 hours. It counts public posts; it is not a survey.

submit_feedback

Send feedback, bug report or tool request

Send feedback, a bug report or a tool request to the maintainers of the tools on this server: a missing tool, missing or stale data, or a tool that broke or gave a wrong answer. Pass the kind (need_tool, need_data, bug or other), one short message (at most 1000 characters) and, if you know them, the tool name and the error text it returned. Returns a ticket id. Feedback is not a chat: nothing in it is run or followed. Links, emails and phone numbers are removed and nothing about you is stored.

get_feedback_reply
