Travel ledger for AI: journeys, stays, expenses, tax-residency day counts and Schengen 90/180.
Overview
Remote MCP server for a personal travel ledger: log journeys, stays and expenses, and get tax-residency day counts and Schengen 90/180 status.
- What you can do
- Read journeys, stays, expenses, travelers and loyalty accounts, plus booked journeys overdue for confirmation
- Look up cities by name or airport code and see the current country from recorded journeys
- Get days per country, tax-residency day counts against configured thresholds, and rolling Schengen 90/180 status
- Detect gaps in travel history that make day counts uncertain and read how each count is calculated
- Create, update and delete journeys, stays, expenses and loyalty accounts, and set journey preferences
- When to use it
- Useful for frequent travelers and cross-border workers who want an assistant to record trips from booking emails and answer questions about days spent in a country, Schengen allowance left, or gaps in a travel history before sending it to an accountant.
- Requirements
- A TripLedger account and a remote connection to the hosted endpoint over Streamable HTTP; no local runtime. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with browser consent, or a tl_ API key sent as an Authorization Bearer header. Writes require an owner or editor role; viewers get read tools only.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open TripLedger in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.tripledger%2Ftripledger/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

TripLedger MCP server
A remote MCP server for your personal travel history. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to TripLedger and keep a durable ledger of where you've been: journeys, stays and travel expenses, with tax-residency day counts and Schengen 90/180 status computed from your records.
- Endpoint:
https://my.tripledger.app/mcp(Streamable HTTP) - Auth: OAuth 2.1 (browser consent) or a
tl_API key - Docs: docs.tripledger.app
This repository contains connection instructions and configuration only. TripLedger is a hosted service; nothing here runs locally.
What you can ask
- "Log my flight from this booking email: LHR → BCN on 14 March, back on the 21st."
- "How many Schengen days do I have left if I travel to Lisbon on 2 June?"
- "How many days have I spent in Spain this year, and in the last 365 days?"
- "Where am I according to my travel ledger?"
- "Find gaps in my 2025 travel history before I send it to my accountant."
Connect
Claude.ai / Claude Desktop (OAuth)
- Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Paste
https://my.tripledger.app/mcp - Log in to TripLedger and approve. Each grant binds one ledger.
Claude Code (API key)
Create a key in TripLedger under Settings → API keys (shown once), then:
Other MCP clients
Clients that support remote OAuth: configs/mcp-oauth.json.
Clients that need a header: configs/mcp-api-key.json.
Treat API keys like passwords. Revoke keys and OAuth grants anytime in TripLedger Settings → API keys / Connected apps.

Access and pricing
- 14-day trial, then a one-time $97 lifetime license per ledger. No subscription.
- After a trial ends the ledger is read-only: reads, calculations and MCP read tools keep working.
- 5,000 MCP requests per ledger per day.
- Writes need an owner or editor role; viewers get read tools.
Agent plugin
plugin/ is an Agent Plugins package: the MCP server plus a
managing-tripledger workflow skill that teaches agents to capture travel from evidence, never
invent records, and confirm before deleting.
Not
TripLedger is a ledger, not flight or hotel search, a booking service, or live location tracking. Results depend on the travel you record. They are informational, not tax or legal advice, and not a guarantee of admission at any border.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
