Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant browse WonderKit's public city guides and itineraries, search trips by description, and get guest-planner links.

What you can do
It exposes read-only travel content: list_cities shows which cities have a published guide, and find_activities returns published picks for one city, such as weekend ideas, food, or kid-friendly and group activities. list_itineraries and search_itineraries browse or rank public multi-day itineraries by words, audience, city and season, and get_itinerary returns the full day-by-day or themed plan with venues and map links. plan_trip_link and continue_in_wonderkit return web links to the guest planner, city guide or itinerary so the person can continue on the WonderKit site.
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what to do in a covered city, wants ideas for a weekend, date night or family outing, or describes a trip and wants matching public itineraries. Also handy when they want a starting link to plan their own trip or to reopen a guide they found.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at wonderkit.app; no package, account, API key, environment variable or header is declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
The server is read-only and cannot save, share, book or create anything; the returned planner links are where the person adds dates and travelers. Content is limited to published public guides and itineraries, not private trips.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open WonderKit Discover in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/app.wonderkit%2Fdiscover/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

list_cities

List cities

Use this when someone asks which cities WonderKit covers or needs a valid city key. Lists cities that have a published city guide of real things to do, with their keys. Reads public guides only; it cannot plan, save, or look up a private trip.

Takes no parameters.

find_activities

Find activities

Use this when someone asks what to do in one city: weekend ideas, events, food, or kid-friendly, date-night, or group activities. Returns published picks from the WonderKit city guide and the page URL. Returns single activities, not multi-day plans, and cannot see anyone's own trips.

list_itineraries

List itineraries

Use this when someone wants to browse WonderKit's public multi-day itineraries and place guides, for all cities or one city and audience. Plans that are in season this month come first. Each summary has dayCount (days or themed sections) and stopCount (anchors plus backups; before 2026-09-28 stopCount held the day count). Browses by city and audience only; it does not rank by a free-text description. Does not book or edit a trip.

search_itineraries

Search itineraries

Use this when someone describes the trip they want, such as "romantic weekend in October", "museums with kids", or "Christmas markets", and needs matching public itineraries across cities. Ranks by the words they used, who it is for, and season fit. Pass a city to stay in one city. Do not use it to create or save a trip; it only reads published guides.

get_itinerary

Get itinerary

Use this when someone wants the full plan for one public itinerary, by its slug: day-by-day or themed stops with real venues and map links, rainy-day and where-to-eat sections, and the best season. Returns dayCount and stopCount (anchors plus backups; before 2026-09-28 stopCount held the day count), the page URL, and planUrl, which opens the WonderKit planner prefilled from this plan. Read-only; it cannot change a plan.

continue_in_wonderkit

Continue in WonderKit

Use this when someone wants to save, share, or keep working on a plan from a public guide or itinerary. Returns the WonderKit web links for that city guide, itinerary, and the guest planner. This server cannot save or share anything itself.
