AI-generated overview

Appside's remote MCP server for its developer docs and public app catalog: search docs, read SDK snippets and status, check fees, and register, verify and…

What you can do
  • Search Appside developer documentation and get source links with excerpts
  • Retrieve SDK code examples, download URLs, install instructions and verification status per platform
  • Look up published payment fee and fixed-fee policy
  • Register an app or game in the public catalog with plain-text metadata and a website or store listing
  • Verify a pending registration by publishing an ownership token on the site or store description
  • Fetch and search verified public app listings by text, category or playable web build
When to use it
Useful when an assistant is working with Appside's SDKs or docs and needs current snippets, install details or fee information, or when a coding agent has built an app and wants to list it in the public Appside catalog and verify ownership.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at appside.build; no package install, Appside account or store account is declared. Registering an app needs plain-text metadata plus a website, or an App Store or Google Play listing for store-only apps, and the ability to publish a verification token on that site or in the store description.
Before you install
Registration writes a public catalog entry and returns an ownership token that must be published at a well-known path or meta tag on the submitted site; treat that token as a secret until published. Pending entries expire after 14 days. The server states that items should never be granted from client callbacks and that SDKs run in test mode, so do not treat SDK output as proof of payment.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Appside Docs and App Catalog in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/build.appside%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
