Read-only Paris city guide: lets an assistant search events, places, guides and the current seasonal moment, with page and booking links.
What you can do
Search dated events by time window, subject, price, free text or distance, with relaxed results flagged
Fetch a single event by slug, including dates, venue, tags, description and booking link
Search places such as cafés, parks, museums and pools by kind, amenity, open-now status or distance
Fetch a single place by slug with address, coordinates, amenities, opening hours, cooling reliability and nearby places
Search events, activities, places and guides together by text when the kind is unknown
Get the seasonal or cultural moment currently running in Paris, or the city's seasonal mode
When to use it
Useful when an assistant answers questions about what to do in Paris: what is on this week, free or cheap outings, cool places during a heatwave, or which seasonal event is running. It suits travel, local-guide and itinerary-style conversations rather than general web search.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Read-only, but some booking links are paid commissions: where a record marks disclosure as required, the disclosure text must be shown alongside the link. Attribution to underlying open datasets, including ODbL ones, is required wherever the data is used. Prices appear only when verified in the last 24 hours, so a missing price does not mean free.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/city.cestchaud%2Fparis/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Finds dated events in Paris by time window, subject, price, free text or distance from a point. Returns each event with its page URL and, where we hold one, a booking link. Relaxes the window or radius when fewer than three events match, and says so in `relaxed`.
Returns one event by slug: its dates, venue, subject tags, our own description where we have written one, and a booking link where we hold an offer. Use it after search_events, or when you already have an event URL.

search_all
Search everything in Paris

Parameterstypelimitqueryrequiredoffset
moment_now
What is on in Paris right now
Returns the seasonal or cultural moment currently running in Paris — Fashion Week, Christmas, a heatwave — with its hub URL and dates, or the city's seasonal mode when none is running.
