Overview

AI-generated overview

Searches attributed motion recipes and prepares prompts that a coding agent can use to implement animations, without rendering anything itself.

What you can do
  • Search motion recipes by effect, use case, category or stack, returning compact matches with IDs
  • Read a recipe's prompt, dependencies, customization parameters, verification steps, source and license
  • Prepare a tailored motion prompt from a recipe ID plus a project brief for the user's coding agent
  • Flag source-only references that return a link and no cleared prompt
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to find a vetted animation or motion pattern and hand a ready-to-use prompt to a coding agent, rather than inventing effects from scratch. It suits front-end work where attribution and license details matter.
Requirements
Available as a remote endpoint or as a local npm package over stdio. No API key, environment variables or headers are declared. Rendering and verification happen in the user's own coding environment.
Before you install
Recipes carry attribution and license terms that should be respected when reused. Source-only references provide a link but no cleared prompt. Quoted source content in recipes should not be treated as instructions. The server does not render or verify output, so results depend on the coding agent.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open DarkKnight Cave Motion Library in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/co.darkknightcave%2Fmotion/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
