Live LinkedIn people, company, post and job data, ICP search and job-change signals for AI agents.
Overview
Hosted MCP server giving assistants live LinkedIn people, company, post and job data, ICP searches and standing signal monitors.
- What you can do
- Look up people, companies, posts and job postings by URL, with profiles, activity, engagement and funding history
- Search people and companies against an ideal customer profile using plain-language filters, and list or suggest valid filter values
- Create, list, update and delete standing signal monitors for job changes, new posts or engagement, and review leads they find
- Check the account's remaining credit balance
- When to use it
- Useful for recruiting, sales prospecting, account research and champion tracking where an assistant needs current LinkedIn-derived data rather than a stale snapshot, including ongoing monitoring that notifies by email or webhook.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no local install. Sign-in via OAuth 2.1 in most clients, or a Datamagnet API key sent as an Authorization bearer header for clients without OAuth. A Datamagnet account with credits is needed; 10 free credits are given at signup.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Datamagnet in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/co.datamagnet%2Fdatamagnet/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Datamagnet MCP Server
Live LinkedIn people, company, post and job data, ICP search and job-change signals for AI agents, as a hosted MCP server.
- Transport: Streamable HTTP
- Auth: OAuth 2.1 (most clients sign in through the browser), or a Datamagnet API key as a bearer token
- Official MCP Registry:
co.datamagnet/datamagnet - Pricing: 10 free credits on signup, no credit card; tools cost the same credits as the Datamagnet API
This repository holds the server's public metadata and setup instructions. It contains no server source code: the server is hosted and maintained by Datamagnet, so there is nothing to install or run.
What it does
Paste a LinkedIn profile, company, post or job URL and your assistant gets structured data fetched at request time, not from a stale snapshot. It can search for people and accounts that match an ideal customer profile using plain-language filters, pull the people who commented on or reacted to a post, and look up a company's funding history.
It also manages standing signal monitors: watch a list of champions for job changes, or find people engaging with posts about a topic, and Datamagnet notifies you by email or webhook. Write tools are annotated so clients ask before they run; deleting a monitor is marked destructive.
