Agency Handy

Agency CRM, projects, tasks, tickets, invoices and proposals in your Agency Handy workspace.
Overview
Connects an AI assistant to an Agency Handy workspace so it can read and change clients, projects, tasks, tickets, invoices and proposals.
- What it does
- A hosted MCP server exposing roughly 100 tools prefixed ah_ for an Agency Handy workspace. Read tools cover clients, leads, projects and tasks, tickets, comments, time entries, invoices, proposals, orders, subscriptions, services, forms, custom fields, webhooks and chat, plus owner insights such as ah_dashboard_digest, ah_cash_risk and ah_client_churn_risk. Write tools create and update leads, clients, tasks, tickets, comments, invoices, proposals, orders and services, assign work and change status. Send tools (ah_invoice_send, ah_proposal_send, ah_client_invite) email clients, and a ah://full-context resource describes the data model.
- When to use it
- Useful for agencies already running on Agency Handy that want an assistant to answer questions about clients, projects and billing, or to draft and update records without switching apps. Worth adding when the assistant should act on live workspace data rather than a copy.
- Requirements
- A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at nothing to install locally, though stdio-only clients need the mcp-remote bridge via npx. Requires an Agency Handy workspace API key generated under Settings, Workspace Config, API Key, sent as the Authorization header in the form Bearer followed by the key. Network access to the hosted endpoint.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Agency Handy in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

Agency Handy MCP server
Connect an AI assistant to your Agency Handy workspace. Ask about clients, leads, projects, tasks, tickets, invoices and proposals, or create and update them, from Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Cline and other MCP clients.
The server is hosted by Agency Handy. This repository holds the connection instructions and the registry listing; there is nothing to install or run yourself.
Get an API key
In Agency Handy, open Settings → Workspace Config → API Key and generate a key. The key acts as you, with your role's permissions, in that one workspace. Delete it on the same screen to cut off access at once.
Set up your client
Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key.
Claude Code
Install the plugin, which also adds a usage skill and asks you to confirm before anything is sent to a client or deleted:
Or add the server directly:
Cursor
~/.cursor/mcp.json:
VS Code (GitHub Copilot)
.vscode/mcp.json:
Claude Desktop, Cline and other stdio-only clients
What it can do
About 100 tools, all starting with ah_:
- Read: clients, leads, client companies, projects and their tasks, tickets, comments, time entries, invoices, proposals, orders, subscriptions, services, forms, custom fields, webhooks, chat.
- Owner insights:
ah_dashboard_digest,ah_cash_risk(overdue and at-risk invoices),ah_client_churn_risk. - Write: create and update leads, clients, tasks, tickets, comments, invoices, proposals, orders and services; assign work and change status.
- Send:
ah_invoice_send,ah_proposal_sendandah_client_inviteemail your clients.
Start a session with ah_health and read the ah://full-context resource for the data model.
Safety
Everything runs with the permissions of the API key's owner in one workspace. Tools that email clients or delete data change real customer data, so check what the assistant proposes before you confirm it. The Claude Code plugin always asks before those actions.
The hosted server does not store your workspace data. It keeps short request logs (tool, timing, member and workspace IDs, IP address, errors with keys removed) for up to 14 days. See the privacy policy.
