Overview

AI-generated overview

AgentGid is a remote catalog MCP server that lets an assistant look up AI agents, APIs, dev tools, licensed assets, prices and project kits before building.

What you can do
  • Search the catalog for tools, APIs, assets, skills and resources that fit a goal, then open full cards with licenses, prices and install lines
  • Compare APIs in a category and check LLM token prices, agent plan limits and live status or incidents
  • Review price history, current vendor deals and Claude Code/Codex usage-limit resets
  • Get license-checked design and product recipes, tested project kits and AGENTS.md briefs
  • Report problems found in a kit back to the catalog editors
When to use it
Useful when an assistant is choosing libraries, APIs, models or media assets for a new project and needs checked pricing, license terms and install details rather than guesses. Also handy for tracking agent plan prices, outages and deals.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at agentgid.com; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to the service is needed.
Before you install
No authentication is declared, so treat queries as visible to the service. report_kit_issue sends text to AgentGid's editors; the server itself asks that keys, personal data and user code be left out. Prices and status are point-in-time and should be re-checked.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AgentGid in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.agentgid%2Fagentgid/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Tools

23

find_tools

Find tools for a goal

Search AgentGid for agents, coding tools, APIs, models and stacks that fit a goal, e.g. 'Solana LP copy-trading bot', 'web search API for a research agent under $50/month', 'animate a 2D game UI', 'free fonts for a mobile app'. Returns candidates grouped by kind (libraries and tools, content assets, agents, APIs, guides) with Gid Score, prices, licenses and links. Use this first, then get_tool / get_asset / get_api / get_agent for the full card.

Parameterslimitquery

real_world_usage

What developers actually use

From public GitHub repos set up for AI coding agents: the MCP servers developers connect (overall or per agent), common combinations, and per domain (Solana bots, EVM apps, games, agent products, mobile) the APIs, SDKs and packages they use.

Parametersagentdomain

current_deals

Current deals and credits

Active official offers from the makers of AI agents and tools: discounts, free access, extra usage, credits, student, startup and open-source programs. Each comes from the vendor's own page, with its end date and source.

Parameterskindagent

limit_resets

Usage-limit resets

When Anthropic and OpenAI last reset the 5-hour and weekly usage limits of Claude Code and Codex, how often they do it, and recent resets with a link to each announcement.

Parametersproduct

price_history

Plan price history

How an agent's plans and prices changed month by month, read from archived copies of its official pricing page.

Parametersagentrequired

find_assets

Content assets and licenses

Sources of UI kits and templates, fonts, icons, illustrations, colors, backgrounds, mockups, logos, placeholders, stock photos, video, music, voiceover and 3D for apps, websites and games: price, whether the license allows commercial use, needs credit, can ship inside an app or be fetched by bots, the rules to follow and how an agent connects (MCP, API, package, download). get_asset gives the full card with the license quotes.

Parametersquerystylecategoryfree_commercial_only

plan_project

Plan a project from a tested kit

Get a project kit: one part per job from AgentGid's catalogs (with version, license and reasons), install lines, checks, and with files=true the AGENTS.md brief, CREDITS.md, first prompt and MCP setup files. Give a recipe id from list_recipes or the goal in plain words. If no recipe fits the goal, it says so and lists the recipes: it never improvises a stack.
