Overview

AI-generated overview

Checks whether specific United, Alaska and Hawaiian flights have Starlink WiFi, and predicts Starlink odds by flight, route and airport.

What you can do
Looks up a tracked-airline flight number and date to report whether the assigned aircraft has Starlink (yes, likely, or no), and predicts the probability of a Starlink plane when no assignment exists yet. It also returns fleet rollout statistics, lists equipped tail numbers and aircraft types, ranks flights on a route or touching an airport by Starlink odds, and compares carriers for an itinerary. A search tool lists near-term departures whose currently assigned aircraft is Starlink-equipped.
When to use it
Useful when someone wants to know if their upcoming United, Alaska or Hawaiian flight will have Starlink WiFi, which routes or airports offer the best Starlink odds, or how far a carrier's fleet rollout has progressed.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The assistant needs network access to the provider's endpoint.
Before you install
Results are based on published aircraft assignments and historical observations, so an aircraft swap can change the outcome and predictions are probabilistic. Coverage is limited to the tracked airlines; multi-stop United routings are referred to a separate endpoint.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Airline Starlink Tracker in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.airlinestarlinktracker%2Fstarlink-tracker/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

check_flight

Check flight for Starlink

Use when the user asks "does my flight have Starlink/WiFi?" with a specific tracked-airline flight number and date. Returns YES if the published aircraft assignment is a plane verified to have Starlink, LIKELY YES if that plane is listed as Starlink-equipped but not yet verified, NO if it is a plane verified to have other WiFi, or a probability estimate if no assignment exists yet (assignments publish ~2 days out). An assignment can still change through an aircraft swap. For dates further out, call predict_flight_starlink directly — check_flight just falls through to the same estimate with extra latency.

get_fleet_stats

Starlink fleet rollout stats

Use when the user asks "how far along is the Starlink rollout?" or wants overall fleet numbers. Returns tracked airlines Starlink installation counts and percentages across mainline and express fleets, plus a per-aircraft-type breakdown (installed/total per family). Not for per-flight checks — use check_flight for that.

Takes no parameters.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
