Your AI makes the file, you get a public link. Host PDFs, images and files from any MCP client.
Overview
Remote MCP server that hosts files your assistant creates and returns a public link you can share.
- What you can do
- Publish Markdown as a hosted PDF and get a shareable link
- Import a file from a URL, or upload small files directly and create one-time upload links for larger ones
- List, search, read back, rename, replace and delete hosted files
- Organize files into folders and tags, and share a folder as a public page
- Set link options such as password, expiry, download limit or e-mail capture, and view download stats and collected leads
- Send feedback to the AIToURL team
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant produces a document, image or archive and you want a link to share instead of downloading and re-uploading it, or when you want to manage and track previously published files from the conversation.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP client that supports streamable HTTP and OAuth; connect to the AIToURL endpoint and sign in with Google or GitHub to approve files:read and files:write. No API key or environment variables. A free plan includes MCP access; several features need a paid Pro plan.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open AIToURL in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.aitourl%2Faitourl/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

AIToURL — Your AI makes the file. You get the link.
AIToURL is a remote MCP server that lets your AI assistant publish files and hand you back a permanent public link. Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to write a PDF, export an image or package a ZIP — AIToURL hosts it and returns a clean URL you can share anywhere (email, Instagram DMs, Slack, a client portal).

[Demo: ask Claude for a checklist PDF, AIToURL publishes it and Claude returns a public link that opens anywhere]
The whole flow in 27 seconds: ask, publish, share the link. (MP4 version)
This repository is the public presentation of AIToURL (docs, setup, screenshots). The service itself is hosted at aitourl.com.
Why
AI assistants are great at creating files — checklists, reports, quotes, e-books — but sharing them is clunky: download, re-upload somewhere, copy a link. AIToURL removes those steps:
"Write me a launch checklist as a PDF and give me the link."
…and the link arrives in the conversation.
Connect your AI
The server uses streamable HTTP at https://aitourl.com/mcp. On first use you'll be redirected to aitourl.com to sign in and approve access (files:read / files:write).
Claude (claude.ai, desktop, mobile)
Add a custom connector in Claude's connector settings and paste:
Claude Code
Cursor
Or by hand, in ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):
ChatGPT
Enable developer mode in ChatGPT, then add a custom connector with the URL https://aitourl.com/mcp. (Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan.)
Other MCP clients
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth works — point it at https://aitourl.com/mcp.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
