AlgoTrips lets an assistant look up destination facts, search priced flights, and build day-by-day trips with live prices for a signed-in AlgoTrips account.
What you can do
Look up destination facts, overviews and guide links for a city or region, with close matches when a place is not found
Search one-way flights for a given day between two cities or airports, returning up to five priced options with booking links
Build a full day-by-day trip with live prices (flights, hotels, activities, transfers) for given cities, dates, travellers and home city
Check a trip build by its build id for progress, total price, hotel details, city order and a day-by-day outline
List the ten most recent trips of the signed-in account with dates, status and links
When to use it
Useful when someone is planning real travel and wants destination background, flight options with current prices, or a complete priced itinerary built for them. Flight-only questions fit search_flights; whole-trip planning fits plan_trip.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at api.algotrips.com; no package or local runtime. The trip tools need the person to be signed in to an AlgoTrips account. plan_trip needs confirmed cities and nights, an exact start date, traveller counts with children's ages, and a home city.
Before you install
Trip building and flight search act on the signed-in AlgoTrips account and may trigger an email when a build finishes. Booking and payment happen only on algotrips.com, never in chat, and prices are checked again there before payment. Budgets are sent as whole Indian rupees in budgetInr. Do not let the assistant guess dates, travellers or cities.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.algotrips%2Falgotrips/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Facts about a travel destination (a city or region) from the AlgoTrips destination guides: country, a short overview, what the full guide covers, and links to the guide and to plan a trip there when available. If the place is not found, it names close matches to try instead.

my_trips
My trips
The signed-in AlgoTrips account's 10 most recent trips, newest first: title, cities, dates, status and a link to open each one on AlgoTrips. Needs the person to be signed in to AlgoTrips.
Takes no parameters.
plan_trip
Plan a trip
Builds a full day-by-day trip with live prices in the signed-in AlgoTrips account: flights from the home city (unless gettingAround is none), hotels, activities and transfers for each city, for the cities, start date, travellers and home city given. The kind of hotel (hotelStars) and what the travellers enjoy (interests) shape the hotels and activities picked. A field name the tool does not take is refused: nothing is built, and the answer names the right field. Returns a build id at once. The trip takes about 3 to 6 minutes, and AlgoTrips emails the person when it is ready (the price and the link), or if it could not build it, when it has their email (the answer says so). With choicesConfirmed not true and any of the budget, the kind of hotel, pace, activities, getting around or (2 or more cities) the city order left out, nothing is built: the answer lists those choices with their questions and defaults. Booking and payment happen on algotrips.com. Needs the person to be signed in to AlgoTrips.

trip_status
Trip status
How a trip build is going, by its build id: while it builds, what it is working on; when it is ready, the total price, nights, hotel (with its star rating and guest score out of 10) and number of activities per city, the order of the cities and why when AlgoTrips changed it, a day-by-day outline with the flights, and the link to open and book it on AlgoTrips. Needs the person to be signed in.
ParametersbuildIdrequired
search_flights
Search flights
Searches one-way flights on AlgoTrips for one day between two cities or airports, with current prices. Returns up to 5 options (airline, flight numbers, times, duration, stops, baggage, refund, fare and price for all passengers), each with a link to book it on AlgoTrips, and a link to see every flight. Nothing is booked or paid here. The prices are the signed-in AlgoTrips account's own; needs the person to be signed in to AlgoTrips. A city that is not found or is shared by several cities returns close matches instead (status needs_changes).
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
