Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only Amazon US shopping intelligence: Top-100 bestseller lists, product profiles, price history, comparisons and live page scrapes.

What you can do
  • List Amazon US categories and subcategories, and pull Top-100 Best Sellers Rank lists for them
  • Get structured category briefs covering market overview, considerations, gotchas and keywords
  • Look up product profiles with specs, ratings, price, trend, dimension scores, facts check, red flags and sentiment
  • Search products by keyword with sorting and data-maturity tiers, and compare two to five products side by side
  • Fetch price, 180-day price change history, or a live page scrape for current price, stock, Buy Box seller and reviews
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to answer Amazon US shopping questions: what sells in a category, how a product is rated, whether now is a good time to buy, or how several products compare. It is aimed at neutral, fact-based product research rather than purchasing.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, and the data covers the Amazon US market only.
Before you install
The live scrape tool calls a real-time endpoint and takes roughly 15 to 30 seconds per request, and results carry a data_as_of timestamp and is_stale flag that should be checked. Price history is a stored snapshot, not a real-time feed. Data is limited to Amazon US and is presented as neutral guidance, not a purchase recommendation.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Asinrating in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.asinrating%2Fasinrating/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
