Leafsight gives an assistant plant problem guides in 8 languages and, after sign-in, the user's saved plants, past assessments and check-ins.
What you can do
Search and read plant problem guides covering symptoms, pests, diseases and care mistakes
List the user's saved plants with latest assessment and next check-in date
Read one plant's details, notes, recent assessments, care steps and active tasks
Retrieve a past assessment's likely problem, severity, symptoms, causes and care steps
List scheduled check-ins, soonest first, optionally including watering and treatment tasks
When to use it
Useful when someone asks about houseplant or garden plant symptoms and wants sourced guidance, or wants their own Leafsight plant records, assessments and care schedule pulled into a conversation.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at askleafsight.com; no package or environment variables. General guide tools need no sign-in; the plant, result and check-in tools require the user's Leafsight sign-in.
Before you install
The account tools read the user's saved plants, assessments and care schedule, so only connect with an account the user is willing to expose. Results are assessments, not diagnoses, and locked care steps must not be invented. It cannot scan photos or change the account.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.askleafsight%2Fleafsight/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search Leafsight's plant problem guides: common symptoms, pests, diseases and care mistakes of houseplants and garden plants (for example yellow leaves, leaf spot, aphids, overwatering, root rot, powdery mildew). Use for general questions about a plant symptom. Returns titles, summaries and askleafsight.com links. No sign-in needed.
