ATAbooking lets an assistant search hotels, compare direct room quotes, hold a room and confirm a booking with a guest's emailed code.
What you can do
Search stays for dates and guests, returning each hotel's cheapest fitting room with a quote and fee breakdown
Read one stay's rooms, prices, inclusions, check-in/out times and cancellation terms
Re-check a specific room's availability and live quote right before booking
Place a 15-minute hold on a room and trigger an email with a 6-digit code to the guest
Confirm a held booking using the code the guest provides
When to use it
Useful when someone wants to find and book hotel rooms directly with the hotel rather than through an OTA, and wants the assistant to walk through search, availability check, hold and confirmation in one conversation.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variables or headers are declared. Booking flow depends on the guest receiving an email with a 6-digit code, so a working guest email address is needed.
Before you install
The registry description says it is currently a demo with sample hotels and no real bookings; hotels marked demo: true reserve nothing, send no email and take no payment. Booking involves a 5% fee, holds a room for 15 minutes, and sends the guest an email. Five wrong codes cancel the hold. Only use a code the guest gives you, and confirm guest details before booking.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.atabooking%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find hotels with a room free for the dates and guests. Returns each stay's cheapest fitting room with a quote (price, ATA fee 5%, typical 15-20% OTA cut). Demo hotels are marked demo: true.
Places a 15-minute HOLD on the room and emails the guest a 6-digit code. Nothing is booked and nothing reaches the hotel until the guest confirms. After calling, tell the guest: check your email (the result shows the masked address), then either read the code back to you (call confirm_booking) or click Confirm in the email. Send an idempotency_key and reuse it if you retry. Confirm name, email, dates and price with the guest before calling. Demo hotels (demo: true) confirm at once and send no email.
Confirm a held booking with the 6-digit code the guest received by email. Only use a code the guest gave you. Five wrong codes cancel the hold. Confirming twice returns the same booking.
