A remote MCP server giving assistants read-only world data: weather, geocoding, exchange rates, holidays, time zones, country facts, earthquakes and sun/moon.
What you can do
Look up weather forecasts and current conditions for a place or coordinates, and geocode names to coordinates or back to addresses, with OpenStreetMap links for checking results. Retrieve European Central Bank exchange rates for 30 currencies, convert amounts, or pull a time series. Check public holidays by country and year, including regional ones, and see upcoming holidays. Convert times between IANA time zones and do date arithmetic such as durations, weekday, ISO week and Unix time. Get country essentials like capital, population, GDP, currencies, languages and borders, plus worldwide earthquakes filtered by magnitude or radius. Compute sunrise, sunset, twilight, golden hour, moon phase,
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs quick, factual world context: planning around weather or daylight, scheduling across time zones and holidays, converting currencies, checking country facts, or reporting recent earthquakes. It suits read-only lookups rather than anything that changes data.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local runtime, package, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, but the server's instructions describe paid tools billed per call via x402 crypto payment or a prepaid credit key, with 10 free calls per day per client.
Before you install
The server's instructions say some tools cost $0.001–$0.03 per call, payable in USDC or SOL on Solana or USDC on Base, or with a prepaid credit key sent as an Authorization bearer header; a 402-style result lists payment requirements. Weather, geocoding, holiday, country and earthquake data come from third-party services (MET Norway, OpenStreetMap/Photon, Nager.Date, World Bank, USGS). The instructions also contain promotional and contact material from the operator.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.augur-trade%2Fforesight-world/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Current weather and hourly/daily forecast for any place name or lat, lon: temperature, feels-like, wind, gusts, rain, cloud, humidity, UV — up to 9 days. Forecast from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway), the same model data yr.no uses, worldwide. Place names are geocoded with OpenStreetMap. Times are UTC plus local time when tz is given (IANA, e.g. Australia/Sydney). Price: $0.001 per call (10 free/day; after that a payment-required result lists x402 options). Errors: returns isError with a message for invalid input or an upstream failure (not charged).

geocode
Geocode / reverse geocode
Place name or address → coordinates (with city, state, country, postcode), or lat,lon → the nearest address. Up to 10 candidates. OpenStreetMap data via Photon. Returns OSM links so results can be checked. When to use: To turn names into coordinates; weather and sun_moon accept place names directly. Price: $0.001 per call (10 free/day; after that a payment-required result lists x402 options). Errors: returns isError with a message for invalid input or an upstream failure (not charged).
Parameterslimitqueryrequired
fx_rates
Currency exchange rates
Official exchange rates for 30 major currencies (European Central Bank reference rates): latest or any date since 1999, convert an amount, or a time series. Frankfurter API over ECB reference rates, published each working day ~16:00 CET. For crypto use crypto_price. Price: free. Errors: returns isError with a message for invalid input or an upstream failure (not charged).
Parameterstodatefromamountend_date
