Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted AutoContent server that turns documents, URLs and text into videos, podcasts, slides, infographics and other content from an MCP client.

What you can do
  • Create and manage projects, add knowledge sources such as PDFs, URLs, documents, videos and text, and set project logos
  • Preview a generation with its quote, then generate videos, podcasts, slide decks, infographics, articles, guides, ebooks and quizzes, and edit or give feedback on results
  • Set up and run recurring Content Loops that keep producing new content
  • Create, inspect and delete custom brand voices and avatars
  • Check account usage and manage project archives, collections, source status and generation lists
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to repurpose existing material into media assets such as podcasts, videos or slide decks, or to keep producing content on a recurring schedule, without leaving the chat client.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or API key. Requires an AutoContent account and OAuth sign-in through a browser window, with scopes platform.read, platform.write, platform.generate and platform.billing.read. Generations draw on the account balance.
Before you install
Generations consume your AutoContent account balance, so preview the quote before approving. The server can create, edit and delete projects, sources, voices, avatars and Content Loops on your account, and recurring loops keep producing content. Uploaded documents, URLs and videos are sent to a third-party hosted service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AutoContent in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.autocontentapi%2Fplatform/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

AutoContent MCP Server

Turn PDFs, URLs, documents, videos and text into podcasts, videos, slide decks, infographics, articles, guides, ebooks and quizzes from any MCP client. Your assistant plans the asset, shows the quote, and AutoContent generates it on your account.

  • Endpoint: https://mcp.autocontentapi.com/v1 (Streamable HTTP)
  • Auth: OAuth, sign in with your AutoContent account
  • Website: https://autocontentapi.com/mcp

What you can do

  • Create projects and add knowledge sources: PDFs, URLs, documents, videos and text.
