BidProwl lets an assistant search live US government surplus auction listings, pull sold-price comparables and deal scores, and check API quota.
What you can do
Search live government surplus auction listings by keyword, category, state, ZIP radius and price, and fetch a single listing by id or slug. Look up sold-price statistics from closed government auctions, either as category-and-state aggregates or exact percentile comps for a live listing. Get BidProwl's deal score and condition-adjusted tier for a listing. Run up to 25 sold-comps lookups in one batch call. Retrieve the actual sold lots behind a comps figure, with title, final price, close date, state, source and link, paginated by cursor. Check the API key's plan, monthly call limit, calls used and remaining, and quota reset date.
When to use it
Useful when evaluating US government surplus auctions: finding live lots near a ZIP code, judging whether a price is fair against recent sold results, or screening listings by deal score before bidding.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at bidprowl.com. An API key is implied by the usage tool, though the manifest declares no authentication or headers. Some item-level and per-listing comps need a Pro or Pro+ plan.
Before you install
Calls count against a monthly API quota; batch lookups cost one call per query, and only the usage check is free. Item-level and per-listing comps require a paid plan. The server reads auction data only; bidding and payment happen elsewhere.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.bidprowl%2Fbidprowl/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Fetch a single listing by its BidProwl id or slug.

Item-level and per-listing answers need Pro or Pro+; categories work on every plan. Amounts are in cents.
