Searches open defensive cybersecurity (blue team) jobs and salary statistics from BlueTeamJobs, read-only and without sign-in.
What you can do
Search open blue team jobs by keyword, newest first, with links to each job page
List jobs first seen in the last few days, optionally filtered to one role
Read one job's details: pay, location, clearance, certifications, skills and an excerpt
Get pay percentiles in USD from postings of the last 12 months, by role, US state, seniority or work arrangement
List role categories with open job counts, and locations with job counts plus the remote count
When to use it
Useful when someone is job hunting in defensive security (SOC, incident response, DFIR, threat hunting, CTI, detection or security engineering) or wants to check pay ranges for those roles. It is not meant for offensive roles such as penetration testing.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared, and no sign-in is needed.
Before you install
Read-only: it does not apply to jobs, so the user still applies on the job page. Salary statistics only appear when at least three postings with pay exist for a grouping, so figures can be missing or based on small samples. Job links point to a third-party site.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.blueteamjobs%2Fjobs/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
