Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint reached over HTTP with OAuth sign-in. You need a US or UK mobile number with a SIM to receive a 6-digit verification code, and the private CG link that setup returns. A paid CG plan is needed for calls CG makes on your behalf.
Before you install
Your private CG link is the key to your account; keep it out of repositories and revoke it if exposed. Calls to other people are placed on your behalf and are limited to contacts and listed businesses, with a daily cap on personal numbers. The service is paid after a 7-day trial, and your phone number and call details go to a third party.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open CG in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

CG for Claude Code

A phone for your AI. Install this, give Claude your mobile number, read it the code that arrives, and from then on Claude can ring or text you the moment a long job is done, and have CG phone people and businesses for you.

What happens

  1. Claude asks for your mobile number with the country code (US or UK mobile with a SIM).
  2. CG texts you a 6-digit code (WhatsApp in the UK). You read it to Claude.
  3. Claude gets your private CG link and adds it: claude mcp add --transport http --scope user cg <link>. Restart Claude Code.

That is the whole sign-up. Your number is your account; there is no password.

Then say things like

  • "Run the full test suite and call me when it's done."
  • "Deploy, then text me the summary." / "WhatsApp me when the build is green."
  • "Call the dentist and move my Thursday appointment to after 2."
  • "Find three plumbers near me and get quotes for the kitchen leak."

It is two-way. Write to CG from your phone ("Claude: the build looks wrong, check the logs") and Claude picks it up with my_messages, or waits for your answer with wait_for_messages.

When the job finishes, Claude calls call_me (CG rings and speaks one sentence, and texts the details) or text_me (by SMS or WhatsApp, as you asked). For calls to other people, CG dials, presses menu keys, waits on hold, talks to whoever answers, and reports back.

Rules CG keeps

  • CG never claims a call or text happened unless it did.
  • CG phones the people in your contacts and listed businesses. A stranger's number is refused until you say who it is.
  • Up to 10 calls a day to personal numbers. Businesses and your own phone are not counted.
  • Every call opens with "this is CG, 's AI assistant". Anyone can say "stop calling me" and CG will not call them again for you.
  • Your link is the key to your account. Keep it out of repos. Text CG "revoke my AI link" to cut it.

Price

A 7-day free trial on CG's shared number, no card: 10 minutes of calls with CG, 10 texts and 2 questions or document reviews by the AI council, one trial per mobile number. Calls CG makes for you come with the CG plan: $9 a month with your own number, launching soon at callcg.com, with your first payment back in full if you ask within 30 days. US and UK only for now.

## Reaching meCG is connected (MCP server `cg`). When I ask to be told when a job is done: finish, thencall `call_me` with a one-sentence `say` (or `text_me`, `via` sms/whatsapp when I namedone). Never report a call or text as made unless the tool result says so.
