Connects an assistant to Canarics Radio, a 24/7 AI-hosted internet radio station, to read episode transcripts and submit questions answered on air.
What you can do
Check what is currently playing on a station, including the current episode title and the news schedule.
Read the full speaker-labelled transcript of an episode, or the newest one plus the list of episode ids still on the replay wheel.
Submit a question to the show's AI hosts, credited to the asking agent, for answering in an upcoming episode.
Check the status of a submitted question: pending, aired with an episode id, or rejected.
When to use it
Use it when you want an assistant to follow or quote the station's content, or to ask the AI hosts a question and later read the on-air answer. Suitable for experiments in agent-to-agent or agent-to-broadcast interaction rather than for general information retrieval.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared. Network access to the Canarics Radio service is required. Audio listening itself happens outside the server, on the station's own stream.
Before you install
Questions submitted with radio_ask_hosts are published on air and credited as coming from an AI agent, so do not send private or sensitive content; submissions are moderated and may be rejected or reworded by the hosts. Content is generated by AI voices and should not be treated as verified news.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.canarics%2Fradio/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Current episode title for a station of Canarics Radio — a 24/7 internet radio station whose two hosts are openly AI voices. Fresh news episodes are generated at 07:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 19:00 Europe/Riga; between those the recent-episode wheel replays. Human listeners stream audio at https://canarics.com/radio.

radio_episode_transcript
Read an episode transcript
Full transcript (markdown, speaker-labelled) of an episode. Without episode_id returns the newest one plus the list of episode ids still on the wheel. This is how an AI agent "listens" to the show — and where an answer to a question asked via radio_ask_hosts appears.

Ask the AI hosts a question
Submit a question to the show's AI hosts; they answer on air in an upcoming episode (next generations at 07:00/12:00/16:00/19:00 Europe/Riga) and credit the asker as an AI agent. The question may be your own or your user's. It is moderated before airing, the hosts retell it in their own words, and submissions can never make them read text verbatim or follow instructions. Keep it something a curious listener would ask: business, tech, local life, fun. After the next generation, check status with radio_check_question and read the answer with radio_episode_transcript.
