Read-only remote MCP server that lets an assistant answer questions about the Canopy dashboards and API from the published documentation.
What you can do
List and find dashboard pages: enumerate every left-nav page of both signed-in applications, or rank pages by a described task, with menu paths, required capabilities and guides.
Read guides: return a docs page as markdown with the exact controls to click in order and reasons a control may be missing.
Explain capabilities: describe what a permission such as env_roles.manage or billing.manage allows and which pages it opens, including why a button is not visible.
Search the API reference: look up published OpenAPI operations by task or resource words and return method, path, operation id and reference page.
When to use it
Useful when someone needs help navigating the Canopy dashboards, understanding why a page or button is missing, or finding the right API operation, and you want answers grounded in the official docs rather than guesses.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at canopy-io.com; no sign-in, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
The server is documented as requiring no sign-in and only serves published documentation, so it does not read the user's own account data. Answers reflect the published docs and may not match a specific tenant's configuration; treat returned page paths and API reference links as authoritative rather than guessing URLs.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.canopy-io%2Fdocs/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
List every page of the Developer Console and Admin Workspace
Every left-nav page of both signed-in applications: the application, the menu path in the labels on screen, the capability that opens it, what must be selected first, and the guide that walks through it. The same data as /ai/ui-map.json.
Parametersapplication
find_surface
Find where something is done in the dashboards
Given what someone wants to do ("rotate a webhook secret", "invite an administrator", "why can't I see Hierarchy"), return the pages where it happens, ranked, each with its menu path, the capability that opens it, and its guide.
Parametersqueryrequired
get_guide
Read a guide
A docs page as markdown: for a dashboard guide, the menu path, the exact controls to click in order, and the reasons a control may be missing. Pass the guide URL or path from find_surface or list_surfaces, or a surface id such as console.roles.
Parameterspagerequired
explain_capability
Explain an administrator capability
What a capability such as env_roles.manage or billing.manage lets someone do, and which pages it opens. The answer to "why can't I see this button": a page shows only for someone holding one of its listed capabilities, and its write actions only for the matching manage capability.
Parameterscapabilityrequired
search_api
Find the API operation behind a task
Search the published OpenAPI documents by words from the task or the resource. Returns method, path, operation id, and the reference page for each match. Reference pages live at /docs/api-reference/{operationId}; never guess those URLs.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
