Overview
Local MCP server that lets an assistant calculate U.S. car sales tax, title and registration fees, with calculators for TX, CA, FL, NY and PA and rates for…
- What you can do
- Compute car sales tax for a vehicle purchase, with dedicated calculators for Texas, California, Florida, New York and Pennsylvania.
- Estimate title and registration fees alongside the tax figure.
- Look up state-level sales tax rates covering all 50 states.
- No tool list is published, so the exact operations and inputs are not documented beyond these calculators.
- When to use it
- Useful when someone is budgeting a vehicle purchase or comparing the out-the-door cost of buying a car in different U.S. states and wants tax, title and registration estimates inside the assistant conversation.
- Requirements
- Runs locally over stdio as the PyPI package us-car-sales-tax, launched with uvx, so a Python environment with uv/uvx is needed. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Desktop client only; not available as a web executable.
