Overview

AI-generated overview

Checks crypto tokens on BSC, Ethereum, Base and Arc for traps by really buying and selling them on a forked chain; paid per call in USDC/USDT.

What you can do
  • Scan tokens for honeypots, taxes, owner powers and liquidity, at lite, full or ultra depth, and read stored verdicts and reports
  • Compare a token's last two scans and check a deployer's verified creation and other known tokens
  • Inspect a token's market: pool reserves, liquidity, price and holders
  • Simulate a buy or sell, test up to four exit sizes, and preview any transaction on a fork with balance changes
  • Screen a wallet's balances of given tokens by risk, and trace funds out of a transaction wallet to wallet
  • List new launches and newly funded markets with verdicts where scanned
When to use it
Useful when an assistant helps evaluate or trade new tokens and needs evidence-based risk checks rather than flags from someone else's API, or when you want to test a trade or exit before signing it on-chain.
Requirements
Runs as a local npm package (npx chaink9-mcp) or as a hosted streamable HTTP endpoint. A dedicated wallet private key in CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY holding USDC on Base (or USDT on BSC plus a little BNB), with CHAINK9_PAY_NETWORK, CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_CALL and CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_DAY optional. Paid tools need an x402-aware client; the hosted verdict tool is free.
Before you install
Requires a wallet private key (CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY) that signs real payments; use a new, low-balance wallet. Each successful call costs money (roughly $0.002 to $0.05), capped by CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_CALL and CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_DAY, with spend tracked in a local file. On BSC the first payment signs a one-time Permit2 approval. Results are evidence from a fork at one block, not a guarantee, and are not financial advice.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Chaink9 in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.chaink9%2Fchaink9/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

ChainK9 MCP server

Token risk checks for AI agents on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base and Arc.

Most token scanners read flags from someone else's API. ChainK9 does what a buyer would: it forks the chain and really buys and sells the token through its market (PancakeSwap or Uniswap V2, V3 or V4, hooks included), then runs 70+ checks. A honeypot is caught by what it does, not by what its code looks like.

Each successful call is paid automatically in USDC on Base or USDT on BNB Smart Chain with the x402 protocol, from a wallet you choose. There is no account and no API key, and failed calls (bad input, not a token, no liquidity, engine busy) are free.

Tools

The tool list is read live from api.chaink9.com, so new products appear without updating this package.

ToolPriceWhat it does
scan$0.02Full check of a token: honeypot, buy/sell taxes and how they change, owner pause, blacklist, mint and confiscation powers, limits, liquidity, upgrade authority. Verdict: danger, caution or ok.
scan-lite$0.005Faster check for bots (2–5 s): one real buy and sell plus the contract reads. Skips the extra trade and time-travel probes.
scan-ultra$0.05Everything in scan, plus who holds the token: top holder and top-10 share, and whether one wallet can pull the liquidity.
report$0.002The latest stored scan of a token, without a new one.
feed$0.002Tokens that just got a market, with a verdict where scanned.
simulate-trade$0.02Buy or sell for a given wallet on a fork, with its real balances.
exit-check$0.04Test up to four sell sizes from a wallet's real balance.
transaction-preview$0.02Run any transaction on a fork and see balance changes.
liquidity-report$0.003The token's pool: reserves and LP tokens (V2), or liquidity and price (V3/V4).
launch-feed$0.003New markets that are actually funded, optionally by verdict.
risk-changes$0.002What changed between a token's last two scans.
deployer-report$0.005A token's verified creator and their other known tokens.
portfolio-screen$0.005A wallet's balances of given tokens, riskiest first.
trace$0.01Follow the money out of one transaction, wallet to wallet and through swaps, up to five hops, until it rests, reaches a busy wallet such as an exchange, a mixer, or is burned.

Every tool takes chain: bsc (default), eth, base or arc. trace takes a transaction hash; the others a token or wallet address.

Setup

  1. Make a new wallet just for this and put a few dollars of USDC on Base in it. It needs no ETH: x402 payments are signatures, and the payment service pays the gas. To pay on BNB Smart Chain instead, put USDT on BSC in it plus about $0.01 of BNB, and set CHAINK9_PAY_NETWORK=bsc. BSC's USDT is paid through Permit2: the first payment also signs a one-time approval, which is the only thing that uses the BNB.
  2. Add the server to your MCP client with that wallet's private key.

Claude Code:

bash
claude mcp add chaink9 -e CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY=0x... -- npx -y chaink9-mcp

Cursor, Claude Desktop or any client with a JSON config:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "chaink9": {      "command": "npx",      "args": ["-y", "chaink9-mcp"],      "env": { "CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY": "0x..." }    }  }}

Claude Desktop can also install the .mcpb bundle from the releases with a click.

Hosted server, no install

https://api.chaink9.com/mcp serves the same tools over streamable HTTP (MCP 2025 and 2026-07-28 clients alike), plus a free verdict tool (the stored verdict and which checks flagged it). Paid tools there take the payment inside the MCP call, x402-style, so they need an x402-aware client such as @x402/mcp's createx402MCPClient. Ordinary MCP clients can connect and use verdict; to pay from those, use the package above.

Limits

VariableDefaultMeaning
CHAINK9_PRIVATE_KEY(required)Private key of the dedicated wallet that pays.
CHAINK9_PAY_NETWORKbasebase pays in USDC on Base, bsc in USDT on BNB Smart Chain.
CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_CALL0.05Any single payment above this is refused.
CHAINK9_MAX_USD_PER_DAY1Stops paying once this much was spent today (UTC).

The daily total is kept in ~/.chaink9-mcp/spend.json. The wallet only ever signs payments on the network you chose, and the key never leaves your machine.

Disclaimer

ChainK9 reports what happened when it traded the token on a private copy of its blockchain at the block shown. That is evidence, not a guarantee: a token's owner can change its rules after the scan, and traps no check tests can be missed. Nothing here is financial advice; you trade at your own risk.

verdict

Free. ChainK9's latest stored verdict (danger, caution or ok) for a token on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc, with the names of the checks that failed or warned and when it was scanned. Most funded new launches are scanned within minutes. For the evidence behind each check use the paid report tool; for a fresh check use scan-lite, scan or scan-ultra.

Parameterschaintokenrequired

simulate-trade

Execute a requested-wallet buy or sell on a disposable fork of BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc. Trades the token's market as a scan finds it: its funded V2 pair, else its deepest V3 pool, else its recorded Uniswap V4 pool (hook included), against BNB/WBNB or ETH/WETH; actual wallet balances, EOA wallets only. Returns receipt status, received amount, the market traded (pool_version, pool, fee_tier, hooks), router quote shortfall and gas. A V4 quote already includes the hook's cut. A quote shortfall is not a pure tax or price-impact measurement. Sell approval is simulated when needed; no live transaction is sent. Costs $0.02 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequiredamountrequiredwalletrequireddirectionrequiredminimum_out

exit-check

Test up to four independent sell sizes from an EOA's existing token balance. Each size starts from the same fork snapshot; approvals are included when needed. Sells through the token's V2, V3 or V4 market (as simulate-trade finds it) with the wallet's real BNB or ETH for gas. Returns observed sell outcomes, not a guarantee of future exit. Costs $0.04 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequiredwalletrequiredamountsrequired

risk-changes

Compare the latest two stored ChainK9 scans. Returns changed, added and removed module results plus report timestamps. Does not run a new scan or independently verify implementation changes. Requires two saved scans; 404 is not charged. Costs $0.002 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequired

deployer-report

Verify a token's successful finalized top-level creation transaction and return known verified deployments by that sender with stored scans. Coverage grows as creation proofs are submitted. Does not discover every deployment, trace launchpad/internal CREATE, attribute a team, or label a deployer a scammer. Costs $0.005 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequiredcreation_txrequired

liquidity-report

Read the token's market at one finalized block. A V3 or V4 pool returns pool_version, fee, hook, active liquidity, price and (V3) the coins the pool holds; its positions are NFTs, so holders and lock IDs are refused. A V2 pair returns canonical reserves against WBNB/WETH (PancakeSwap on BSC, Uniswap on Ethereum and Base), LP supply, burned LP and up to ten supplied holders. On BSC, optionally verify up to ten PinkLock V2 simple lock IDs against the pinned BSC contract, exact runtime hash and aggregate LP custody. Reports future, elapsed, withdrawn and unsupported vesting records. No holder/lock discovery or withdrawal simulation; other contract-held LP remains unknown. Lock and holder amounts overlap. Costs $0.003 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequiredholderspinklock_ids

launch-feed

Filter the latest collector candidates on one chain for currently funded markets: canonical V2 and V3 pools against the wrapped coin with at least the minimum wrapped-coin reserve, and Uniswap V4 pools against the native or wrapped coin with active liquidity (V4 only when min_wrapped is zero, since a V4 pool's own coins can't be read); optional stored verdict. Checks at most twenty candidates at one finalized block. Ordered by pair creation, not first liquidity time; most funded markets are scanned in the background within minutes and re-scanned an hour later; unscanned markets are unknown and stored verdicts may be old. Costs $0.003 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschainlimitverdictmin_wbnbmin_wrapped

transaction-preview

Execute an EOA transaction on a disposable fork of BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc. Supply target, calldata, optional native-coin value and up to ten ERC-20 assets to track. Returns receipt status, native-coin balance delta including gas, requested token deltas and direct approve allowance reads when available. Other assets, internal approvals and signatures are not inventoried; nothing is broadcast live. Costs $0.02 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterstorequiredgasdatarequiredchainvaluetokenswalletrequired

portfolio-screen

Read actual wallet balances for up to twenty supplied token addresses on one chain and prioritize their stored ChainK9 scan verdicts. Includes scan age/staleness and missing reports. Does not discover wallet assets, run fresh scans or establish wallet-specific sellability; use exit-check for that. Costs $0.005 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokensrequiredwalletrequired

scan

Check a token on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc for traps before buying it. ChainK9 forks the chain and really buys and sells the token in a sandbox (its V2 or V3 pool: PancakeSwap on BSC, where a V2 pair against USDT or USDC is traded through BNB, Uniswap on Ethereum and Base; or its Uniswap V4 pool, hook included, against the native coin or, traded through it, USDT or USDC; on Arc, its V4 pool against USDC), then runs 70+ checks: honeypot, hidden and changing buy and sell taxes, owner pause, blacklist, mint and confiscation powers, transfer and sell limits, cooldowns, liquidity, upgrade authority. Returns a verdict (danger, caution, ok) and every check's result. Results are reused for 10 minutes. Not charged when the address isn't a token or has no liquidity yet (422). Costs $0.02 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschainfreshtokenrequired

scan-lite

A quicker, cheaper ChainK9 check for bots that need a fast yes or no before buying a token on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc. It really buys and sells the token once on a fork of the chain, then reads the contract: honeypot, buy and sell tax, trade gas, ownership, owner functions in the bytecode, blacklist, proxy, liquidity and source checks. It skips /scan's extra trades and time-travel probes (taxes that change over time or after several sells, owner powers tried for real, transfer limits and cooldowns), so a recent full /scan is returned instead when one exists. The report's tier field says which ran. Lite results are stored, so /report returns them later too. Not charged when the address isn't a token or has no liquidity yet (422). Costs $0.005 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequired

scan-ultra

ChainK9's deepest token check on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc, for bigger buys and due diligence. Everything /scan does (a real buy and sell on a fork of the chain plus 70+ checks: honeypot, changing taxes, owner powers tried for real, limits, cooldowns, liquidity, upgrade authority), plus who holds the token: the largest holder's and the top 10's share of supply, ranked from the token's whole transfer history with the largest balances read on chain, and whether a single wallet holds the pool's liquidity tokens and could pull the liquidity. Holder checks cover tokens with up to about 10,000 transfers (most new launches) and say so when a token has more. A stored ultra result also answers /scan and /report. Not charged when the address isn't a token or has no liquidity yet (422). Costs $0.05 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschainfreshtokenrequired

report

The latest stored ChainK9 report for a token on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc, without running a new scan; its tier field says whether it was a lite, full or ultra scan. Most funded new launches are scanned in the background within minutes of their first liquidity and re-scanned an hour later, so this is usually the fastest answer for a new token. Not charged if the token was never scanned on that chain (404). Costs $0.002 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parameterschaintokenrequired

trace

Follow the money out of one transaction on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base or Arc, wallet to wallet: native coin anywhere in its call tree (so a drainer contract's payouts count) and every token transfer it logged, then each receiving wallet's outgoing transfers that pass that amount on (first in, first out, wallets funded twice followed once for the sum), up to depth hops (1 to 5, default 3). A swap doesn't end the trail: it continues with what came back. Each trail ends at a mixer (Tornado Cash pools and routers on Ethereum and BSC, labeled with the pool), a contract (exchange, bridge, router, pool; known ones labeled), a busy exchange or service wallet, a wallet still holding the funds, a burn, or the depth limit; ends lists which, with the amount that reached it. Up to 80 hops. Not charged if the transaction isn't found (404) or moved nothing (422). Costs $0.01 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.

Parametershashrequiredchaindepth

feed

The newest tokens that just got a market on BNB Smart Chain (PancakeSwap), Ethereum, Base or Arc (Uniswap), newest first, with ChainK9's verdict where the token was scanned on that chain. Funded launches are usually scanned in the background within minutes, so most of them already carry a verdict. Costs $0.002 per successful call in USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain (USDT) or Solana, paid with x402 in the call's _meta; failed calls are free.
