Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only remote MCP server for searching a small dated snapshot of China industry article excerpts, disclosed sources and company identity links.

What you can do
  • Search a dated CII metadata snapshot by literal keywords, industry and inclusive UTC dates, with publisher-attributed excerpts and canonical URLs
  • Retrieve the public excerpt and disclosed sources for one selected article ID
  • Look up a small selection of company names with CII profile links and official identity URLs, including Chinese aliases
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs quick, read-only background on Chinese industry news or company identity links from a fixed snapshot, rather than live or whole-site search.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
Results come from a small dated snapshot, not live or whole-site search, so coverage and freshness are limited; an absent article ID simply means it is not in the snapshot. Only excerpts, not full article bodies, are returned, and company data excludes financials, customers, headquarters or verified fact sheets.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open China Industry Intel in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.chinaindustryintel.mcp%2Findustry-intel/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
