Overview

AI-generated overview

Compares multi-cloud compute, database and serverless pricing, AI model token costs, and data center compliance from an assistant chat.

What you can do
  • Compare compute, database and serverless pricing across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, DigitalOcean, Alibaba and Cloudflare
  • Search AI model token pricing (input, output, prompt caching) and context windows across major LLM providers
  • Estimate end-to-end multi-cloud cost benchmarks for full-stack architectures including VMs, managed databases, load balancers, storage and egress
  • Look up data center regions, availability and compliance certifications such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and FedRAMP
When to use it
Useful when planning or migrating cloud workloads and you want quick price comparisons, AI model cost estimates, or a check on regional availability and compliance before committing to a provider.
Requirements
Runs locally over stdio, typically via the npm package. Requires a Compare Cloud Costs API key supplied in the CCC_API_KEY environment variable; a free key can be generated, and preview keys include 10 free evaluations. Network access to the service is needed.
Before you install
The API key in CCC_API_KEY is a secret and should be kept out of shared configuration. Usage beyond the free preview evaluations may require a paid plan. Pricing and compliance figures come from a third party and should be verified before making purchasing or compliance decisions.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Compare Cloud Costs in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
