What fits, with live prices: specs, fit verdicts with rule ids and stock for home espresso.
The publisher's own server: compatsy 3D printing
Hosted MCP server for home espresso gear that lets an assistant search products, compare specs, check part-to-machine fit and see live stock and prices.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.compatsy%2Fhome-espresso/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Add this to your client's mcpServers config.

}compatsy answers "does this part fit that machine, and where is it in stock?" Each category has its own MCP endpoint:
Specs carry their source and confidence, fit verdicts cite the rule that decided them, and prices come with the time they were last verified.
This repo is the quickstart for the hosted MCP server. Nothing runs locally except an optional stdio bridge.
Remote (preferred). Any client that supports Streamable HTTP:
stdio via npx. For clients that only launch local servers:
Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http compatsy-3d-printing https://compatsy.com/3d-printing/mcp
No account or key. Calls are rate limited per session. The bridge defaults to https://compatsy.com/mcp (3D printing); set COMPATSY_MCP_URL to another endpoint from the table.
Example prompts that use them well:
fits, fits_with_adapter, does_not_fit or unknown. Unknown is an answer: it lists the spec fields that are missing rather than guessing. Every rule needs two independent sources, one from the manufacturer, before it can decide anything.
rules/cursor.mdc and rules/windsurf.md tell Cursor or Windsurf agents when to call compatsy instead of guessing fitment from memory.

limitqueryfilterscategoryGet product details
Full specs with per-field confidence and source, every offer with verified time, 30/90-day price range. Example: {"product_id":"prusa-mk4s"}
product_idrequiredCompare products
Side-by-side spec table with offers and the fields that differ. Pass 2-10 product_ids, or a category with filters. Example: {"product_ids":["e3d-v6-brass-0-4","bondtech-cht-0-4"]}
limitfilterscategoryproduct_idsCheck fit
Does this part fit that machine? Returns a verdict with the rule id and version that decided it, or the missing fields. Example: {"subject_id":"e3d-v6-brass-0-4","target_id":"prusa-mk4s"}

Availability and price per merchant, re-verified live when the data is over an hour old. Example: {"product_id":"prusa-mk4s","merchant_id":"prusa3d"}

Flag a wrong spec, price or fit verdict. Reports never edit facts; two independent reports mark a fact disputed. Example: {"entity_type":"product","entity_id":"prusa-mk4s","field":"nozzle_thread","claim":"MK4S uses the Nextruder thread"}

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
